Beside you-Michael Clifford

Ellyse was adopted into the Hemmings household when she was 12. She's now 17 and her brother, Luke, is coming back for a little break from his tour with his band. When he comes home, he brings his band mates too.. A special someone catches Ellyse's eye. She has a huge crush on him and tries to keep it a secret but little does she know he feels the same way about her. When 5 Seconds Of Summer has to go back on tour and Ellyse and the band get separated, does a special band member wish he was beside her?

5. 5

To get back on Mums good side, I decided to cook breakfast for everyone. I cooked up some pancakes, 2 for each person, and added maple syrup and some bananas on top with a side of strawberries.

We gathered to eat in the dinning room and the living room because there wasn't enough room for all 9 of us to eat around a 6 seated table.

Oh, by the way, I forgot to add that Jack and Ben went back to their homes last night after we had family time. It was great to see them again. Brothers might be annoying like 24/7 but in the end you still love them.

I only wish my actual brother was here. I dont even know where he is and what family he got moved in with.

I miss you, Jaidyn.

Anyway.. The girls and I decided we would sit in the living room and the rest can gather around the table and my oh, so delicious meal. Just kidding, it probably tastes like shit. Oh, well, I tried.

To my surprise, everyone actually really seemed to enjoy their breakfast and they all thanked me.

"That was really great, Ellyse. Thank you for the meal" Michael thanked, a smile tugged on the corners of my lips but soon turned into a grin as he did the unexpected and hugged me.

He smelt pretty good, not going to lie. His warmth just felt so comforting and I felt this kind of safety that I cant describe and I dont know why I only seem to feel it with Michael. I dont like him or anything.

We pulled apart after for what seemed like ages and he walked off into the kitchen. The girls came and stood in front of me with a smirk on their faces and their arms crossed.

"What?" I questioned, playing dumb. Kirsty raised her eyebrow at me.

"You guys so like each other," Absolutely not. Nope. No way, "You guys lingered! You so d-" She stopped mid-sentence as Michael walked past us with a gentle smile on his face. His eyes took a quick glance at me before he completely left the room to go upstairs, I couldnt help but smile a little too, "You so do! Its so obvious!" She walked up closer to me and placed her hands on my shoulders as she looked me in the eyes, "Dont lie, we know you do."

There was no point debating with them when they're like this. They will not listen to any word you say and come up with some of the worst come-backs I have ever heard, to be honest.

"Whatever." I replied; ending the conversation at that. I headed into the living room to play some Tombraider, "Im gonna play video games, dont disturb me until its lunch time which is in 5 hours soo.. Bye, talk to ya later." And then I just walked off.

I placed the disk in the playstation 4 and then let my 5 hour gaming session begin.

This is the life.

Well, it was until Kirsty and Andy came and interrupted me. I know I sound like a really bad friend right now but I just want to have some alone time. Its hard to get in this house.

"Did cancer teach you nothing?! You're supposed to go out and live your life to the fullest not just lounge around the house and do nothing." Kirsty yelled which attracted Mr. Nosypants Luke to pop his head around the corner and be the nosy one he is.

"Ooooh. Fight! Fight! Fight!" He yelled as he fist-pumped the air.

"No," I said shooing him out of my room, "Go away Lu-"

My sentence was stopped by a certain red-headed boy, "Is that Tombraider??" His face lit up like he was a little boy, I nodded as I smiled up at him, "I've been dying to play this for ages, can I have a go?"

"Of course," I smiled as he unpaused the game and carried on from where I had left off. Kirsty, Andy and Luke left which left Michael and I together.

I have to admit, he was actually a lot better at me but Im never going to tell him that.

I watched Michael's every move. They way he moved to the edge of the seat when he was on the verge of dying or when he dies and he buries his head in his hands.

He had restarted because he had got so frustrated and we were only near the beginning. I looked over at him and just stared at him.

His amazing eyes, ugh, those eyes. They were so cu- Ellyse! No. Stop. I cant be thinking like this at all. I dont have a crush on him and thats final.

My thoughts were broken by Michael speaking up,

"You okay?" He smirked at I realised my mouth was open and I had just been staring at him that whole time.

"Oh, uhh, yeah," Awkward. "Im fine, I was just.. thinking about something," I tried to cover up my awkwardness but it definitely shone through.

"Oh, yeah? Like what?" He raised and eyebrow up at me.

I looked around the room for anything to help me work up and excuse.

"U-uh.. Umm, I-i was.. Um" I stuttered. Wow. Nice going, Ellyse -_-

"Right, okay.. Well, um, we should do something," Michael broke me from speaking, thank god. If he hadn't I would still be stuck stuttering like an idiot.

"Like what?" I asked.

"A song?" I nodded in agreement. Nothing could go wrong with a song right? Its only a song but I bet you somehow Ill end up fucking it up, Im pretty good at fucking shit up.

He ran off and within seconds he was back with a guitar and took one deep breath and then he started playing the song of his choice.

Na na na na na na na na na na

Na na na na

Na na na na na na na na na na

Na na na na

Na na na na na na na na na na

Na na na na

Na na na na na na na na na na

Na na na na

Eddie never went nowhere,

He stayed at home and played his xbox

He read too many comics,

He watched too much TV

Then somehow it got around that his parents would be out of town,

And so they all decided that he should have a party

Climbing in the windows,

They were jumping off the roof.

They dived into the pool until he finally let loose

He said tonight i'm superhero,

Watch me fly ill never get low and I wont come down a gain

No no no.

That song was amazing, I should really start listening to the guys more often because that was just.. wow.

"Soo.. what do ya think?" Michael questioned as he set the guitar down beside him.

"It was amazing," I smiled, "But I have one question, are you Eddie?" We both laughed

He nodded, "Yup, except for the part when it said I had never got any because that it totally not true." He chuckled.

There was a silence that followed, it wasn't an awkward silence though, it was actually kind of comforting. I turned my head to see him already looking at me, his face turned bright red and you could almost mistake him for a tomato.

I got this feeling in my stomach that I had never felt before. It felt there was butterflies. Millions of them and they were flying around and doing somersaults over and over and over again.

I looked into his eyes and the feeling came back but more intense.

He started to lean forward and so did I. I couldn't stop myself. My mind said no but my heart said yes.

We inched closer to each other on the couch as well as our heads. I tilted my head to the right and slid my hand up the side of his neck and into to his hair where they instantly tangled.

Now our lips were just inches away and I felt like he was teasing me. He was stayed there moving forward ever so slowly until I couldnt take it anymore.

I crashed my lips onto his and my world froze for a moment. He slipped his hands around my waist as my other hand also tangled into his bright red hair. Our lips moved in sync and all my butterflies seemed to disappear in an instant.

We pulled away and I stared into his beautiful eyes. I loved every moment lf that kiss and I would never change any of it. Not even the butterflies in my stomach. It just seemed perfect to me just the way it was.

Oooh, so guys, how do you feel about their first kiss together?
