We made it home safely, luckily none of the paps caught up to the boys. That would have caused so much chaos we really don't need right now.
Once all of us got inside it was time to catch up on everything. We've both missed so much stuff out of both of our lives. Kirsty and Andy were both, sadly, asked to leave by Mum because it was 'Family Catch Up Time' or whatever. Calum, Ashton and Michael were all asked to go home too but could come around later if they wanted to. Luke was respectful of Mum's decision.
"So, we should go around clock-wise and tell Luke what has happened in our lives, starting with... Ellyse" Yay! I have the best news to tell him. He's going to be so happy.
"Sooo, guess what?" My smile was so wide and my cheeks were actually starting to hurt from smiling so hard. Ooops.
"What?" A smile plastered onto his face as well.
"On my birthday last year... I was officially announced.. CANCER FREE!" I screamed. Luke got up out of his chair and actually lifted me out of mine and swung me around his a hug. I wrapped my legs around his waist and I buried my face into his neck.
"I'm so happy for you" He said into my ear, a sniffle following after. Was he crying? I pushed my head back to notice a few tears stained down on his cheeks. I placed a kiss on his cheek, "I love you, Ellyse"
"I love you too, Luke" He placed me down and we went back down into our seats and Mum handed him a tissue as well as using one of her own to wipe away her tears of joy.
"You guys are too precious" Mum chuckled lightly as she wiped away the last of her tears. We laughed along with her as she placed the tissue in the bin and came to sit around the table.
We carried on sharing our stories. No more tears were shed, only smiles plastered on our faces - especially when Luke was sharing his stories with us. Those boys are cray cray.
Luke invited the boys around and I invited the girls around.
The door bell rung and Luke and I ran for the door. Being the most awesome out of us, lol jks, I won and opened the door to be greeted by all 5 of them.
"Hellooo!" I sung as I opened the door wider to let them in. Everyone barged on through the front door like it was their own home - well, to Kirsty and Andy it practically was their second home, they came here every day for the past year.
Michael seemed polite and waited til last,
"Come on, Michael!" Calum shouted at the red headed boy who was still standing politely at the door with his hands together and standing very awkwardly, "Why are you being so awkward and quiet? Hurry up!" Calum placed his left foot on the step as he started to walk up the stairs slowly as he waited for Michael.
Michael quietly took his shoes off and walked past me awkwardly.
He didn't seem to be the type that would be awkward though - his bright hair doesnt reflect that.
To me it seems as though Michael seems to be like this around me. I dont think Ive done anything to make him awkward. I dont think anyway.
"Ellyse! What movie are we going to watch?" Yelled Andy from the other room. Oh, great. They do the exact same thing every time.
They lay out a whole bunch of movies - Mean Girls is always the option. All they ever watch is Mean Girls, I mean I dont mind Mean Girls though; it's a great movie. You'd think they would get sick of it after a while but apparently not.
I walked into the room to notice the two girls with a smug smile on their faces and, as I had informed you before, a line of movies, and post-it note with a drawn on arrow, not very well, stuck to the carpet as it points towards the one, the only.. Mean Girls.
"Hmm," I mumbled as I scratched my head and put an, obviously fake, thinking look on my face, "I wonder, what movie we will watch tonight?"
They looked at me hopefully. I couldn't help but laugh at 'em.
"Of course Im going to choose Mean Girls, what kind of friend would I be if I didnt?" I giggled.
They let out a loud exhale from all the air they had been holding in. Im not too sure why though, because I choose Mean Girls every time. Why would I suddenly change?
I went into the kitchen to make is popcorn and a packet or two of lollies.
I didnt think I was in there for that long but I must have been because when I come in, the girls are sitting on the ground, Luke and his mates are taking up all the space on the couch and Mum and Dad are sharing the Lazyboy.
Aaaaand, to add to it. The movie already up to the part where they're ditching health class.
"Don't have sex.. You'll get pregnant and die" Omfg, it kills me.
"God, I love this movie" Luke mumbled to himself as I passed him a bowl of popcorn to share between the 4 of them and one bowl for the girls and I; Dad and Mum didn't want one because they were going on a "diet" or whatever.
What a load of bull.
I heard Mum sneaking down stairs to eat ice cream and Dad has his own "secret" stash of chocolate bars. Also a load of bull because everyone can hear the crinkling of the wrappers at midnight while Mum is downstairs eating her Ice cream.
Anywayyy, of that subject and back to the movie. I was really getting into it when the t.v turned off and the rest of the lights in our house went out as we let out a scream that quickly faded; no one wanting to show they were scared.
I clung to Andy and so did Kirsty, "W-w-what just happened?" I stuttered; shaking uncontrollable as fear ran through my body.
"Nothing's wrong, okay? We'll just go and find the candles and we'll be right back" Dad calmed us. I couldn't help but chuckle a little when I could hear them mumbling things like "Ooops" and "Shit" as the banged into walls and goodness know what else.
"I'm just going to check something" Luke said before walking out of the room. Being the nosy buggers they are, Kirsty, Andy, Calum, Ashton and I think Michael followed out after him.
"Oh, god" I whispered to myself as I fell onto my back and just stared into nothing.. Literally. I couldn't see anything.
"You okay?" A voice mumbled and I almost jumped out of my skin.
"Michael?" I questioned.
"I'm scared" I had to admit it at some point. It was pretty obvious I was scared anyway by the shakiness in my voice.
"Oh, u-um" He stuttered, "Come here?" It came out more of a question.
I followed his voice as I walked through the dark with my arms out in front of me. I tripped and stood on what I think was popcorn and spilt drink.. Ugh. I fell forward as I tripped on.. well, my own two feet. Clumsy bitch right here. I didn't hit the ground though but instead I was caught in the arms of Michael.
The lights flickered back on as the gang and Mum and Dad walked back into the room.
"The lights are back o-" Luke stopped in his tracks as he saw Michael holding me, "Are you two..?" Luke pointed between us.
"Never." Michael and I said in unison as he dropped me on the floor.
Thanks, Michael. Thanks.
