Luke Hemmings | You&Me.

He took hold of my arm, like i was some kind of criminal.
His grip was hard and impossible to wrip me free from.
I guess this was just how my life was, i'd learned to live with the bruises and marks.
No matter what i said to my mom, she wouldnt believe her husband could be such a horrible man.
I couldnt do anything about it, until i met Lucas Robert Hemmings.
He showed me how life was suppose to be, how love felt.
I'd never let anyone in, he just kinda find a way by himself....

1. 2.

Like every other night, when i needed to think.

I went to the beach.

The sweat sound of the ocean, helped me think.

I wrote most of the songs down here, while the sky was cloud free and filled with shinning stars.

When there was no one left and all i could count on interupting me would be the sound of birds flying around.

As i walked towards the beach, with my guitar by my side and my head clear as a blank piece of paper.

I started taking long heavy breaths.

and though about how i had to go to school in the morning and survive another day with homework and stupid cheerleaders.

I got to the beach, and walked towards my usual spot on a little hill close to the water, when i realised that someone was already sitting there.

I looked weird at the person and walked closer.

It was a girl.

She had long Strawberry blond hair, a grey sweatshirt and skinny black ripped jeans on.

Her shoes and socks was laying next to her.

She was sitting with her knees by her face, and her arms around them while looking out towards the ocean.

When i got closer, i noticed that sh>e had hazel brown eyes and mascara running down her face.

The wind was flew through her hair and she closed her eyes.

I slowly walked closer and stopped a few meters from her.

So i wouldnt get to close.

>Are you okay?<

The girl quickly opened her eyes, turned her head towards me and got up.

>No no no no, dont get up. I wont hurt you<

She smiled and sat down in the same posision again.

I walked closer and sat down next to her.

I looked at her, she looked towards the ocean as she took a deep breath.

>Are you okay?<

Even though i didnt know this girl, i got worreid for her and looked at her beautiful face.

She shoke her head.

>No i'm not okay<

She sighed and looked at me.

I smiled.

>You're the first girl i've ever heard say that<

She looked weird at me.

>What? That im not okay?<

I kept smiling.

>Yeah, thanks for being honest<

She nodded and turned her head towards the ocean again.

I grapped my guitar and started playing a song i'd learned playing a few years back.

>The glow that the sun gives
Right around sunset
Helps me realize
This is just a journey
Drop your worries
You're gonna turn out fine.
Oh, you'll turn out fine.
Fine, oh, you'll turn out fine.

But you gotta keep your head up, oh,
And you can let your hair down, eh.
you gotta keep your head up, oh,
And you can let your hair down, eh.

I know it's hard, know its hard,
To remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh,
And you can let your hair down, eh.<

The girl looked at me again as i kept playing the music but stopped singing.

>You're wrong you know<

I stopped playing and looked at the mysterious girl.

She turned her face at the ocean again and sighed.

>What? Im sure no matter why you're feeling down, you'll be okay.<

She faced me again and looked at me with a straight face.

>I mean, i dont know you or anything. But im sure you'll be fine at the end. Right?<

She smiled and nodded.

>Sure, at some point of my life<

I smiled and put down my guitar ,as i looked at this unknown girl i'd never seen anywhere before.

>Hey, what are you doing here at this time anyway?<

I smiled, and looked at her as i waited for her anwser.

>I had to clear up my head, and it seemed pretty silenced here<

I nodded.

>Yeah, it's amazing out here<

She nodded and pushed some of her hair behind her left ear.

She was beautiful.

I noticed how her ears was sticking out a bit.

You know. Like Dumbo.

It was cute.

I couldnt do anything but smile.

We starred into the ocean and let the wind blow through our hair.

I didnt even know this girl, but i didnt really care about that.

I let myself enjoy the moment.

It got pretty dark, and late.

The girl quickly got up and looked down at me as she grapped her shoes and socks and smiled at me.

>Im gonna go now, but thank you for not trying to help me<

I smiled.

As she followed the water towards the stairs to the city again.

I followed her with my eyes.

I was sure i was never gonna see her again.

Maybe she wasnt even real.

Maybe i was going crazy.

Yeah maybe, but just maybe.
