I woke up curled up on Nico. He was snoring softly, making his chest rise and fall softly. I slid from his arms easily without waking him up and slid on my shoes and jacket. With how dark it was outside, I assumed it would be about ten minutes till all the other Hermes campers wple up. I left Nico a note saying I had gone back to my cabin and left. I silently crept back into my cabin and got dressed. I put on a pair of leggings, a camp half-blood tanktop, and my combat boots. I walked out of the cabin and went back to Nico's. I let myself in to see Nico in the same position I left him in. I walked over to him and shook his shoulder lightly. "Nico. Wake up." I said in a soft voice. His eyes fluttered open and met mine. "Morning." He said sleepily. "Good morning! Get dressed. I wanna go do something before I have to go to the big house and finish up the cabin." I said, dragging him from his bed. As soon as he got up, he wrapped me into his arms, most likely because he was cold as he only had on pair of sweatpants. "Nico! You need to get dressed." I said as I attempted to wriggle from his grip. No such luck. "But I don't wanna. I just wanna go back to sleep with you." He said sluggishly. "Ugg... Fine. Only ten more minutes." I said, slipping off my shoes. I crawled back into the bed with Nico. I curled up next to him, my eyes beginning to feel heavy. I soon fell into a dreamless sleep.
"Jayde. I swear if you don't wake up, I'll kill you." Somebody said to me. I opened my eyes and they saw Nico's face inches away from mine. "Let me up." I said in a tired tone. "Not until I get a kiss." Nico said smirking. I groaned in response but leaned up and pecked the tip of Nico's nose, causing him to blush slightly. "Now let me up." I said. He moaned but let me up. I got up and slid on my shoes. I was about to go out the door when Nico stopped me. "You aren't going outside in a tanktop. Here, take my jacket." He said holding out his black aviator jacket. I sighed but slipped it over my bare arms. "Fine." I sighed. "Besides, you look adorable." He said, pinching my cheek. I swatted his hand away and pouted slightly. "C'mon. Let's go." I said, grabbing his arm and dragging him outside. I led him to the beach where we went to our secret field. Nico sat down so I sat down on his lap, curling up. "Do I really have to wear this jacket all day?" I complained to Nico. "Yes. Otherwise I might hurt every guy that sees you." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist. "So you get jealous easily?" I asked smirking. "W-What. No." He said too quickly. I just giggled and leaned back onto his chest. "I need to get to the big house." I said quietly. "Okay. I'm coming with you though." He said, standing up after me. I smiled and nodded. I didn't feel like walking back to the beach so Nico carried me on his back. When we reached the beach, I hoped off of his back and held his hand as we walked to the big house. When I first slipped my hand in his, he tensed up, but he slowly relaxed. "You okay?" I asked concerned. "Yeah. I'm fine." He said convincingly. I smiled and walked to the big house. "Chiron!" I called out when we got into the big house. My hand dropped from Nico's as we entered the big house REC room. My binders were still in the place I had left them so I just picked the one I had left on, and picked up where I left off. I sat Indian-style on the couch and draped a blanket over my legs. I picked up my last binder and started flipping through the pages. Nico sat beside me and helped me.
By the time I had gone through every binder, it was already time for dinner. Nico was hungry so he went to dinner while I went to train. It was getting slightly darker outside by the minute so when I finished training, it was basically pitch-black outside. I went down to where campfire was normally held and saw that the people were still there meaning I could join in. I found Nico and sat down onto the seat next to him. "Hey." I said, pecking his cheek. "Hiya." He said returning my smile. "Ooohhh... Nico... I didn't know you had a girlfriend." The kid next to him teased. I instantly recognized him as Kelp kid, AKA Percy Jackson. I giggled and poked Nico's flushed cheek. "You're so adorable when you blush Nico." I cooed, making his cheeks grow even redder. I giggled and wrapped an arm around his waist, then resting my head on his shoulder. "Awwww." Annabeth cooed from beside Percy. I sleepily blinked and looked as Nico rested his head on top of mine while his arm snaked around my waist. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Oh! I got you something." Nico said suddenly. "You didn't have to." I said tiredly, stifling a yawn. "Oh but I did. Here." He said handing me a small black box. I opened it and a black skull necklace laid in it. "Aw. That's so sweet Nico. Help me put it on?" I asked smiling. He nodded and clipped it around my neck. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Okay. I'm tired so I think I'm going to go back to my cabin and go to bed." I said yawning before I stood up. I pecked Nico on the lips before going back to the Hermes cabin. I got dressed into my sweats and tank top, placing Nico's jacket at the bottom of my sleeping bag before crawling in and drifting to sleep.
When I woke up, the sun had barely risen. I took a shower and got dressed quickly. I grabbed Nico's jacket and headed out towards his cabin. I let myself in and heard shower water running so I just placed his jacket on his bed. I exited his cabin and made my way to the archery range. When I got there, a girl with brown hair tied into ponytail was shooting a bow. She wore this. She was kinda short and pretty skinny. Her right arm was kinda stiff as though she had just gotten out of a cast or sling. I picked up a bow and quiver full of arrows then went over to the target next to her. "Hi! I'm Mia." She chirped. I smiled. "I'm Jayde." I chirped in response. I knocked an arrow and let it fly. It hit one ring away from the center. "Who's your godly parent?" She asked me as I knocked a second arrow. "Noel. What about you?" I asked after I shot the arrow. It almost hit the center. "Nike. Who's Noel? Never heard of her." She replied as she shot her arrow, making it hit the center. "She's the goddess of angels. Nobody except the gods knew about her until the other day." I explained as I shot another arrow, finally hitting the center. "You seem cool." She said to me. "Thanks." I said. I shot another arrow, hitting the center. "You wanna hang out sometime?" She asked me, setting down her bow. "Sure." I said tiredly. I collected my arrows and out them back in the quiver, then continued to put the bow and quiver back where they go. I then headed to Nico's cabin. I knocked once or twice before walking in. "Hello?" I called out. "Hey. I'm in here." Nico called out from the bathroom. I walked in to see Nico combing his hair. "Hi." He said, giving me a quick peck on the lips. "Watcha doing?" I asked. "Getting ready." He said continuing to fix his hair. "I made a new friend and she seemed really nice." I said cheerfully. "Well good for you. You were actually being social." He said pinching my cheek. "Hey!" I said pouting causing him to chuckle. "Okay well I'm gonna wait for you in there." I said pointing to the bedroom and pecking his cheek before leaving the room. "Okay. I'll be just another minute." He called to me. "I swear Nico. Sometimes I'm pretty sure you're a girl." I said smiling. "Hey!" He called back. "I'm gonna hurt you!" He called coming towards me. "No you won't. You love me." I said smiling. "You're right. I do love you." He said pulling me into a bone-crushing hug. "Okay. If you love me you won't kill me." I managed to get out. "Okay. You're right. If I kill you, that won't be good." He said smiling. I handed him his jacket and we headed out the door. He took me to the dinning hall and tried to get me to eat breakfast. "I told you, I don't eat. Please tell me you won't make me." I said whining slightly. We were currently sitting at the Hades table. They apparently lifted the rule when Percy, Annabeth, and a ton of other people had a petition for two weeks to get the rule lifted and they did. "I want you to be healthy. Please just a few grapes or something. Please." He asked handing me a plate of grapes. I huffed, "Fine." I took the plate from his hands and ate one. They tasted pretty good so I continued to eat them until my stomach started to feel sick. I had only eaten about 6 but my stomach was feeling pretty sick. "I'm done. My stomach is starting to hurt." I complained, holding my stomach. "Uggg. Fine. You don't have to eat anymore." He told me. I smiled and pecked his cheek. "Thanks, and also, thanks for trying to help." I said smiling. I sat beside Nico and talked with him for the rest of breakfast until he finished.
