Charity work up to the sharp knock of their teacher, Ms Pincher.
"Come to the dining hall for breakfast." She barked. Charity groaned sleepily and climbed out of bed. She got dressed in a baggy Steelers shirt and black leggings. She ran a brush through her brown hair and tied it back in a ponytail. She glanced at Ellie, who was hair spraying her hair, and was dressed in a black ruffled skirt and a shirt that looked like it was made completely out of rhinestones.
"Wow Charity. You really outdid yourself didn't you?" Ellie scoffed, examining Charity's careless outfit. Charity didn't see Lorde, so she went down to the dining hall alone. When she got there, the boys were already seated and talking. Except for a few that were still in line. Charity grabbed a tray and filled it with breakfast items. She sat down at an empty table. She still didn't see Lorde, she guessed she skipped breakfast for something else. Charity began to eat when she heard a boy's voice ask;
"Is this seat taken?" Charity looked up to see a tall boy with tan skin and brown hair.
"What do you think?" She replied.
"You got a name beautiful?" He asked her. Charity looked up at him with a disgusted look.
"Excuse me?" She asked.
"Do you have a name?" He asked again.
"Well it's certainly not beautiful." She snapped.
"What am I supposed to call you?" He asked.
She folded her arms."Charity." She said plainly.
"No, I don't do charity work, I don't have the time." He said, misunderstanding her.
"No! My name is Charity." She exclaimed.
"Ohhhhhhh." He said. "I got it."
"What about you, do you have a name?" She asked him.
"Of course I have a name. What kind of parent leaves their kid with no name. C'mon Charity, use your head." He laughed.
Charity sighed, "well, what is your name?"
"That doesn't matter." He said quickly, getting up to leave.
"Whoa! Hold on!" Charity said, grabbing his arm so he didn't leave. A smirk crossed his lips. He looked down at his arm.
"You do realize your holding my hand right?" He said.
"Dont you dare start."
He sat back down again. "I think Charity has a little crush on Vito." He said, smirking.
"I knew you had a name." She said. "And I wouldn't have a crush on someone like...you."
"What do mean 'someone like me?'" He asked defensively.
"Well," Charity started. "You seem a bit cocky, and self centered, and a bit annoying."
"You don't even like my hair?" He asked. Referring to his spiky brown hair, He ran a hand through it and wiggled his eyebrows.
"I'll give you that, your hair's amazing." She laughed.
"I knew you'd like him." He said.
