Charity lay in bed that night, stroking Poco's back. She was sure he was already asleep. Charity worried about the strange events that happened before. It wasn't a coincidence. They had done that. What would they do? She had no idea. She heard Lorde sighing and turning on her back. She was obviously having the same problem Charity was. They couldn't hide this. It could put the other kids in danger. Charity quietly sat up and got out of bed. She picked up Poco and quietly stalked out the door. She was halfway down the hall when she heard footsteps behind her. She whirled around to see...Ellie!
"I know what you did." Ellie snarled. Her hair was up in curlers. "What you did tonight, with the tornado, and tsunami, and lighting. You, Lorde, and Vito. I'm going to get you in trouble for it. They'll take you to labs for testing. Maybe they'll even kill you." She laughed maniacally at that.
"You wouldn't." Charity choked out.
"Oh, but I would." Ellie smiled.
"Why?" Charity demanded.
"Anyone, who would ever make fun of me, is my enemy. I don't like you Charity Parks. I hate-" she was cut off by the boys door creaking open. Vito stepped out. He looked thoroughly surprised to see the two girls standing there.
"What's going on? Charity are you ok?" He asked concerned.
She pointed at Ellie. "She knows. She witnessed the entire thing."
"You mean..." His voice trailed off. Charity just nodded, solemnly. More maniacal laughter rose from Ellie. Vito stepped in front of Charity.
"Don't you dare." He warned Ellie. "Dont you dare do anything. If Lorde or Charity get so much as a broken nail. Your dead, you hear me? Unless you want me to tell the principle you attacked Charity."
"But I didn't attack her!" Ellie exclaimed.
"Exactly." Vito smirked. He leaned over to whisper in Charity's ear. "Go get Lorde." He whispered. She hurried off and got Lorde from her restless sleep. They returned back to Vito. "Now you get back to your damn room and you better shut your mouth. Ok?" He threatened.
Ellie nodded. Charity and Lorde stared at Vito with wide eyes. Arm and arm, the three of them walked outside. "No way you girls are going to sleep in the same room with that maniac." Vito told them. They sat down by the lake. The grounds were torn up pretty bad. The three of them layed down, and went to sleep.
