4. Chapter 4: Thousands of dates.
I stood there frozen as ice.
But my face flushed ruby red.
My mind spinning a thousand directions, I rambled on.
The beautiful male stood there raising his eyebrow in confusion, most likely to what I was saying.
Finally calming my mind down, I spoke.
"I don't know, I mean, I appreciate the offer, but-"
"You don't me that well." He finished for me.
I sighed and nodded my head.
"Well, let's get to know each other, while I'm taking you where you want to go."
He said as if it was pure logic.
"I don't thin-"
"Please, I swear I won't bother you ever again." Pleading with puppy eyes that I couldn't resist, he begged.
I put my hands up, "Fine, fine I'll go with you."
Grinning like a idiot, he took my arm like we were going to the ball and took long strides to his red truck.
I had to fast walk to not fall behind.
He opened the passenger door.
"What a gentlemen." I said with a sarcastic voice.
"Thanks, babe." He responded.
"I have only known you for at least five minutes." I said my nose scrunched up.
"Yeah but, we're gonna go on thousands of date." He said cockily.
"Yeah okay, in your dreams." I scoffed.
"'I hope to see you in my dreams." Winking he started the engine.
"So, where to?"
"Terry's please." I replied
We finally pulled up to Terry's parking lot.
I opened the car door and jumped onto the concrete ground.
I turn to face those beautiful blue eyes.
"My name, its Haven." Haven rubbed his neck sheepishly.
"I didn't get a chance to tell you."
I smiled big.
"Arile, that's my name." I retorted.
"Well." I dusted off my jeans.
"I have to go, it was nice meeting you."
Walking away, I thought about what was in stored for me in Terry's.
"Hey!" I heard a low voice shout.
I turn around to see Haven.
"Could I have your number?" He inquired with a tinge of pink on his cheeks.
We exchanged numbers and said our farewells.
Walking into Terry's I felt a blow of cold air on my face.
Nobody was in any of the booths, or tables.
I rang the tiny bell at the host's spot.
Once again, nobody in sight.
Taking matters into my own hands, I wandered into the kitchen.
"Helllooo?" I said
out the o.
"Nobody." I sighed.
This was just a joke, there's going to be someone behind the kitchen door with a bucket of paint.
Most likely Haven.
"This blows." I trudged out the kitchen door.
I felt a big push to my back and scrambled to the wooden floor.
Before I could speak, I felt a large hit to my head and ice cold water.
Sorry for the long wait.
I had bit of writer's block but its all good now.
THIS CHAPTER IS SHORT IM SORRY.
