Defense. Women need to be able to use self defense. Karate, protecting yourself. I had to do exactly that. My parents aren't really parents and don't know how to raise children. They don't know how to defend anyone either. I decided I wanted to be able to defend myself and the people around me.
I was walking down the hall to my next class when I bumped into someone.
"Sorry didn't see you there." I looked up to see the hall monitor, Calum Hood.
"Yeah. Pay more attention next time or I might just have to give you a detention." I rolled my eyes.
"A detention for accidentaly bumping into you?" He nodded.
"I take my job very seriously if you didn't know."
"Noo. I never would have guessed." I said in a sarcastic manner.
"Watch your back beautiful, I might just write you up a detention slip unless,"
"Unless what Calum." I asked although I already had a feeling of where this was going.
"Unless you go on a date with me."
"Do you even know what my name is?" I rolled my eyes for probably the one hundreth time today.
"Uhh.. Yeah. Pfft. Of course I do."
"What is it then?"
"Sophia?" I glared at him. "Do you want a detention slip or not?"
"Fine." I grumbled. I took my phone out, unlocked it, opened contacts and handed it to him. "Put your number in."
He excitedly took my phone and put in his number then gave it back.
"It's Brenna. By the way" I told him as I got off the ground to get to my next class.
"See you soon Brenna" He winked as I walked away.
