The passed 2 weeks have gone by pretty much the same. For the first week and a half at least twice a day they would send someone over. Michael, Luke, Ashton, Calum was the only one that never would never come. It may not be the best idea to be ignoring them but I mean fuck it. I've been going out to buy food and such at night. Thank god for 24 hour stores. Well anyway, a few days ago they stopped sending people over. I mean I'm glad they stopped but also worried because I don't know what this means friendship wise. I hope they haven't given up on me completely…
I was sitting on the couch scrolling through Twitter when there was knock on the door. Hmm, maybe they didn't give up. I stayed on the couch and the knocking continued. I tried to ignore it but it got annoying after a bit.
"What do you want!" I yelled.
The knocking stopped.
"Wow I thought you'd be happier to see me, it's been a while you know?"
Who the fuck- oh my god. I jumped off the couch and sprinted toward the door. I opened it frantically only to find an old friend standing on my doorstep.
"MATT," I yelled as I jumped into his arms.
I haven't seen this kid in ages. We went to middle school together. Matthew was my best friend, well he was until his Mum thought the school was "too dangerous" and he moved him to a private school. He was also getting bullied for coming out as bisexual. I guess it was in his best interest for him to move but I missed him so much. How did he find me!?
"Matt oh my god," I said letting go,"where the fuck have you been?!"
"It's a long story," he smiled.
"Holy shit I can't believe you're here!"
I gave him another hug because, why not?
"Okay Char," he laughed,"enough hugging help me with my stuff."
"Only if you let me."
"YES! PLEASE, STAY!!" He laughed.
"It's nice to feel welcome," he smiled.
"Come inside you little fuck we have a lot to talk about!!" I squealed as I pulled him into the house. Holy shit Matt is back!! This is the best thing to happen all week!!!!
"Come!" Luke was yelling at me from the kitchen.
It was Friday and we both had our lazy day set up. A little bit of food here here, a shitton of pillows there, and a lot of video games everywhere. We were the only two home because ever since the night of the party Calum and Ashton have been trying their best to avoid each other so they're usually out all day. Ashton comes back late at night and Calum has been M.I.A for a couple of days. So Luke and I have been hanging out non-stop.
"Whaaattt," I screamed back.
"We're out of food. Come with me to get more."
I groaned. Leaving the house was the last thing I wanted to do today.
"Why can't you go alone," I asked.
"I can, but that just means that I'll only be getting food for myself."
I groaned again.
"I'll be ready in 10" I yelled moving out of the living room and toward the stairway.
I came back downstairs and Luke had migrated to the living room floor. He was scrolling through Twitter, like usual.
"Let's go," I said getting his attention.
We walked outside and I saw this dude who looked lost standing near a car in between Charlotte's house and our's. He looked weird and I'd never seen him here before.
"Oi," I yelled at him.
He turned with a confused look on his face.
"You alright mate, you look sort of lost," I said getting closer to him.
He had brown shaggy hair and grayish green eyes. He looked a bit muscly but he was relatively lanky. He also had some freckles.
"Actually I am. Do you know where Charlotte lives?" He said.
"Charlotte? As in Charlotte Connors," Luke asked from behind me.
"Why are you looking for her exactly," Luke continued.
"Oh she's a friend," He answered.
Luke shot me a worried glance and kept quiet the rest of the time.
"She uhh, she lives next door," I told him.
"Thanks," he said.
"No problem," I replied.
He waved and awkwardly walked over to her house. He knocked on her door for a long time.
"Get down," I whispered.
Luke and I crouched down behind the long bush that separated our lawns. He said something and almost instantly Charlotte was at the door and in his arms. After a bit of talking Charlotte pulled him into her house excitedly.
"Who the hell was that guy," Luke asked slowly getting up.
"I have no fucking clue," I replied.
We got in the car and waited outside a bit to see if anything else happened. About two or three minutes passed and we gave up on watching and drove off.
We were on the drive back from the store and we still had no idea who that guy was.
"Maybe he's her secret boyfriend," Michael suggested.
"Doubt it, especially with all that flirting with Calum."
"True… you should call her," he said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Call her, Call Charlotte and ask."
"She hasn't talked to any of us in like three weeks. What makes you think she'll answer my call now?? Especially with that guy at her house doing God knows what? She won't answer."
"It's worth a try," Michael spoke.
I pulled out my phone and dialed her number.
I hope she picks up
She probably won't
"Charlotte," I spoke into the phone.
"What do you want Luke," she sighed.
"Who's that guy you're with?"
The line was quiet for a second, I could only hear faint and distant whispers.
"None of your business Luke, bye."
She hung up before I could say anything else. Wow. That was rude.
