14. The Party (pt. 2)

Ashton's POV

"Charlotte are you in here," Calum asked from the door.

I guess it was too dark to see anything. She pulled away and gave me a worried look. Before any of us could move from where we were Calum switched the lights on. Shit…

Calum's POV

Well there I was. Charlotte was half naked straddling Ashton and all I wanted to do was punch him in the face. Hell? Maybe I will punch him in the face.

Ashton shoved Charlotte off and stood up.  "

Calum I-"

"Calum please just-" Charlotte was starting to speak up but I couldn't hold in all my anger anymore.

I hit Ashton in the stomach. Charlotte gasped from the corner of the room. I went for another hit, then another, and another. Ashton didn't hit back once. I got in a lot of good hits and I just couldn't stop. I wanted to punch him once more but Charlotte got in the way.

I couldn't move. I was frozen there trying to process what had just happened. My best friend way lying on the floor nearly beaten to death. Charlotte probably hated me and wanted nothing to do with me. What the fuck did I just do. I got up and ran out as fast as I could. Ashton  knew I liked her... That bastard  knew. I honestly didn't give a shit anymore. I just wanted to do something, anything to get this off my mind. I got to the end of the hall and started to walk down the stairs. I saw the chick I was dancing with earlier, she was sitting near the bottom. Hmmm...

"Hey," I yelled over the music whilst I sat with her.

She jumped.

"You scared the shit out of me," she replied.

"Sorry," I laughed.  There was an awkward silence.

"I never caught your name?" I said trying to spark up a conversation.

"Oh it's uhh... Josie. Yeah... Josie."

"Well er, Josie? What are you doing here alone?"

"I actually don't know... This place is starting to get pretty boring too, I think I might leave..." She trailed off.

"No don't go! Come on I'll help you have fun!"

"How exactly are you going to do that hmm?"

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve," I smirked,"come  on."

I got up and held out my hand for her to take. She hesitated but she finally placed her small pale hand in mine and I lead her to my house.

Charlotte's POV

After Calum stormed off Ashton tried to get back up. He was clearly in a lot of pain but he wanted to go clear things up I had to push him down many times as I sort of yelled at him for trying to be the bigger person.

"Stop doing that," I said looking him dead in the eyes.

"Trying to go fix everything. You need to fix yourself before you fix anything else, okay?!

"Im doing this because you deserve to be with Calum not me. He likes you Charlotte, he likes you a lot. You probably just broke his heart... Not to mention ruined our friendship."

"Don't go blaming everything on me! This wasn't all my fault!!"

"Oh okay, who was the one who thought it would be a good idea to be flirty in the first place," he spat.

I didn't say anything else. I was way to angry. How dare he blame this all on me!?

"You know what!!? Fuck you!"

I quickly grabbed an oversized shirt, my phone, and my keys and ran out. It was  3:00am where the fuck was I going to go.
