A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

273. September 30th

A brick wall, the side of a house,

Built strong, built to last.

Adorned with ivy, red like blood,

Growing into the crumbling cement.

This great structure being destroyed by

This insignificant plant.

Something great can be slowly decayed,

Unnoticed until it is too late.
