A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday. Enjoy!

289. October 16th

A brown dead leaf fall from a sycamore,

Gone forever it has perished.

Yet one year on a green sprout appears,

From which a soft green leaf will grow.

This yearly cycle carries on not stopping,

More leaves die but new ones come.

An old tree has shed and grown many a leaf,

But one day even it will either and die.
