A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

285. October 12th

Lush green, yellow and red leaves grow on trees,

Crisp brown dead ones lie on the floor,

They are separated by nature into two categories

The dead and the living.

Descending into hibernation the trees lose their leaves,

In summer a source of energy

But in winter an expendable, unnecessary asset,

The fiery leaves on trees.
