309. November 5th
A wall formed over many years,
Interweaved like knitted wool.
Knotted and plaited like an intricate knot,
A beautiful design to behold.
Trees bound together by their branches,
Interlocked like gears on a bike.
A solid mass of young, green wood,
A fence made by nature.
It guards the field, which it borders,
And protects it too,
Letting no harmful animals
Enter the area of peace.
Though it is strong, it is not indestructible,
It can be changed and broken.
By only the most powerful of beasts,
That dare to venture beyond the wall.
