A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

324. November 20th

Ivy flows like hair down the wall,

Falling like ribbons to the floor.

Touching the grass but only just,

Ornamented with leaves green and white.

Sinking deep their roots into cement,

Slowly destroying rock and brick.

The ivy like tassels on a scarf,

Meanders like a river to the ground.
