A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

87. March 28th

Rolling waves of salty water crash
Mercilessly over the sun-drenched hard rock.
Unforgivingly sweeping sediment in to
The murky depths of the dirty blue ocean.

Corse sand ground up by the sea lies
Helplessly over the space between
Sea and land: the coast.
To be beaten by waves conjured up by the wind.

The coast is a dangerous area,
A battle ground between the sea and land.
A hostile environment which humans visit,
For holiday, fun and relaxation.
