159. June 8th
Once a part of a grand empire,
Now he lies on the floor.
The kingdom no longer has need,
Of his services and labours.
Now trampled under foot the leaf has lost his pride,
An unimportant nobody, who is he now?
The great oak he once was part of,
Now looms intimidatingly over him.
The leaf is unimportant because,
There are so many clones of him.
Without trouble or any effort,
The tree has gone and replaced him.
