A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

174. June 23rd

Leaves, ivy, ferns and branches

All make their home on the dirty earth bank.

The natural habitat of such objects,

Lying in the mud, lost on the ground.

The bushes look down on them,

Mocking and jeering at them yet

They also are a laughed at group,

By the narrow minded trees looming above.

Equality is a concept which cannot be achieved,

Humans are selfish and want to be best.

There are always some who view themselves as better,

And take it out on minority groups.
