A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

173. June 22nd

In the tree I see little red gems,

Juicy red berries, sweet delights.

Yet just next door live the evil neighbours,

Those sour, bitter people who ruin the world.

Their salty character is not pleasing,

The have no taste but vulgar flavour.

They sit on the tree tempting the foolish,

For only the fool would consume such a thing.
