Remembering a past experience enlightens and refreshes,
Lest said experience was not so great a time.
We can marvel at the great moments but,
We rarely reflect on the sad, sorrowful times.
Looking back can be worse,
Than facing what’s ahead.
Yet the insight that it can provide,
Is often worth the time.
Worrying about what is past never goes well,
You can affect only the future; the past is dead and gone,
Move on from what is done but
Do not forget the lessons that it taught you.
