A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

54. February 23rd

A grey cloud looms on the horizon,

Ready to unleash its munitions,

To attack the earth so vulnerable,

It waits for the opportune time.

The earth is but a lousy hut compared

To the almighty powerful clouds.

A defenceless fort, which cannot hold off

The storm that is doomed to come.

Though guiltless the world seems,

The clouds above think not.

Blackened with anger they rage up there,

Brewing battle worthy comrades.

Though innocent the clouds do look,

Are they also in the right?

Neither side that goes to war,

Can claim a medal for peace!
