A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

225. August 13th

The lush green leaves last not for long,

For already golden yellow ones peek through.

Soon all the green will go but many a colour will replace it,

Yellows, browns, reds and more we will soon see all about.

The summer goes as quickly as it came,

Done, make way for autumn.

The blossoms go and the flowers disappear,

A new era is dawning.
