99. April 9th
A little bird looks for food,
Wanting only enough to keep alive.
He drinks from a dirty stream,
Wanting only enough to quench his thirst.
His world is centred around himself,
He has no concept of anything else.
He sees no world outside his daily routine,
He is bent upon staying alive.
It can be easy to see naught but your needs,
Yet despite that there is a bigger picture.
The little bird he cannot see it and knows it not,
But humans are not birds we can see.
