A Poem a Day

During the year 2015 I have chosen to take on a challenge to write a poem everyday. I will try to put them all here everyday.

116. April 26th

The field is striped with rows of frost,

Which linger where the shadows conceal them.

The hide all day away from the sun,

Waiting for night, wanting it to come.

The trees on the perimeter of the field,

Friends to the late-frost that still stays.

They shield them from the burning sun,

Which soon will reach the farthest corner.
