"James, I need your help." I said, walking into his apartment. "With what?" He asked. "I need Chloe away for a while." I said. "For what?" He asked. "Let's just say, Luke needs to realize I'm not the bad one." I said. "Fine." He said.
I heard mum talking to someone, so I went to see. I thought it would be Chloe. She hasn't called me, texted me, came to see me, and her cousin said she hasn't been around in a few days.
Downstairs, was mum, talking to Violet. "Luke, honey, come have lunch." Mum said, pointing to a seat next to her. I nodded, and walked to the table.
"Remember this picture? You two dressed up as husband and wife." Mrs. Hemmings said. I smiled. "We were, what, like seven?" I asked. She nodded.
"Remember the time when you two came home from school, and celebrated valentines day, by exchanging candy grams?" She asked. I laughed.
I looked over at Luke, who wasn't paying attention. "Hey Luke, where's Chloe? I haven't seen her at all." I said. He looked at me. "I don't know." He replied. "Well, I'm sure she'll be around soon. May I use the bathroom?" I asked. "Of course dear." Mrs. Hemmings replied. I smiled, and got up.
"Uh, hey Luke, can I use your bathroom? I think Jack is in there." I asked. "Don't care." Luke replied. I rolled my eyes, and walked into Luke's room.
I looked at his pictures. Chloe, him. Chloe, him. Chloe, him. Me, him. Me, him. Me, him. Me, him. Wait? I'm still in his pictures? Whoa!
"He wouldn't like you snooping you know." Someone said. I turned around, and Jack stood in the doorway. "Well, you were in the bathroom." I said. He laughed.
"I didn't know he had so many pictures of us." I said. "Neither did I. He usually keeps his room off limits." He said. "Why? He was never like that." I said. He got closed to me. "I guess, it was because you two became so distant." He said, putting an arm around my waist. I moved away. He moved closer to me, and put his hands on my waist, and pulled me into him. "Oh come on Vi. Everyone knows you have a crush on me." He said. I tried to move away, but he kept holding me tighter.
"Please get off." I said. "You look good in that outfit." He said, eyeing me down. "Get off." I said, once again trying to get away. "Jack, please get off." I said. He looked at me, and kissed me, roughly.
"Jack, what are you doing?" A familiar voice asked. He stopped kissing me, and looked. "Jack, before I tell mum, and I know she scares you, you better get out of my room." He said. "Luke I-" "Jack." Luke said. He let go of me, and ran out the room.
"You okay?" Luke asked, sitting on his bed. I nodded. "Don't lie to me." He said. "Me? Lying? Have you seen yourself lately? I think I should be telling you not to lie." I said. He looked to the floor. "Luke, you have to admit it. Chloe is changing you. Shes making me look like the bad person. And im not." I said. "I know. And I'm sorry for treating you the way I did. I was being a jerk." He said. "Luke, there's something I've been keeping from you." I said.
As I was about to tell him, my phone rang. "Hi mom." I said. "What? Yea, I'm here." I said. "Fine! I'll be there!" I groaned. "Sorry Luke, I have to go to my 'hiding spot.'" I said. He sighed. "Please come back." He said. I nodded.
"Did you seriously put Chloe somewhere!" Mom yelled. "I know it sounds bad, but I got Luke back." I said. "Violet! Bring her back now!" She yelled. "But mom-" "Violet Marie. Now!" She yelled. I sighed. "But-" "One more but, and you're grounded." She said. "Mom-" "go to your bed! You're grounded." She said. "Hey! I didn't say but!" I said. She sighed. "Mom, I got Luke back." I said. "Yes, I'm aware. But honey, it's not okay to hide someone's girlfriend." She said. "Yes, I know. But mom. Please. Just a little longer." I said. "No. Now." She said. I sighed. "Fine!" I yelled. Well, there goes my plan. Well, at least I got Luke back. For now.
