Violet laid next to me in the bed. "You know, we haven't been using our powers much." She sighed. "That's because we're busy." I replied, looking into her eyes. Their beautiful. They're brown, with a hint of yellow.
"Actually, they're just brown." She said. "What?" I asked. "My eyes. They're just brown." She said. "Why can't I read minds." I groaned. "Unless you're s girl, then you can't." Someone said. "Gran!" Violet yelled, running to the woman.
"Gran, what are you doing here?" I asked, sitting down. "I came to visit. You know, as a savior in my day, I used to hide out in these things." She said. "Look at you! You gotten so big!" She said.
"Gran, was grandad a savior too?" I asked randomly. "He was. That's why your mother is as strong as she is." She replied. I smiled. "Just like how strong your baby will be." She said. I looked at her. "Honey, I can sense it. I know. I can sense the power." She said. I sighed. "Savior baby?" She asked. I nodded. "Destiny came true." She said.
"Luke doesn't know." I said. If only he knew I was pregnant. "Why didn't you tell me." Luke said, barging in. "Tell you-" "I heard your thoughts Vi." He said. I sighed. "Violet, does your mother know?" She asked. I shook my head.
"Wait, so you are pregnant?" Mrs. Hemmings asked. I nodded. "Luke's baby?" She asked. I nodded. "How long?" She asked. "Last week." I replied. She nodded. "Destiny came true." She said.
I wonder how Chloe will react when I tell her about Violet. Throw things? "Chloe." I said, walking into her room. She put down her book. "Listen, I have to tell-" "Violet's pregnant. I know." She said. "How?" I asked. "It's hard to ignore the screams from outside with her and her grandma." She replied. "So you're okay with it?" I asked. "Luke, it's your life." She said. I smiled.
I walked into Chloe's room, seeing if she wanted to eat. My jaw dropped at the sight I saw. Luke... On top of Chloe. I felt my whole body shut down. Literally. I dropped to the floor, my knees slamming onto the ground, my brain lost connection to everything. My heart felt like it stopped working.
"Violet!" Luke yelled, jumping off of Chloe. I heard the door open, and someone grabbed me, and pulled me out of the room. "I heard everything." They said. "Mum." I said. "Calm down. Your eyes are blue. Your skin is blue. Calm down." She said.
After hours of sitting in utter darkness, I walked into the bathroom. "You've done enough damage! Take me! Take me away from my pain! Just end it!" I screamed. "take me!" I screamed. "I don't care anymore!" I screamed.
"Destiny is destiny." Someone said. "Mrs. Hemmings. I don't know what to do anymore." I sobbed. "This is not the answer. Destiny changes. But Fate never does." She said, then she disappeared.
