"Are you ready?" Dad asked. "No. I-I'm not ready. I don't know where to go. Or how to get there." I replied. "There's a map. In the end of the the road. Find the map, look at it. You will find them." He said. "Just listen to your heart. You will be able to find it. You and Luke will be able to do it." He replied. I nodded. "Now go." He said. I hugged him. "I love you dad." I said. "I love you too baby girl." He replied kissing my head.
I got to the end of the street, and Luke stood there. "Under there." He said pointing to a sewer. "Hell no! I am not going in there!" I yelled. "You have no choice. We both go in." He replied. I sighed, and went into the sewer.
"Luke! I found it!" I yelled. Luke can running over. The map shined when Luke came near. It was like it was magical or something. "Okay, so. We have to go... Right." I said. Luke nodded.
When we got to the end of the sewer, there was nothing but a wall. "What the hell." I said. "You were supposed to go left dumbasses." Someone said behind us. We both turned around. "What the hell are you doing here." I said. "Hello. I'm apart of this too." She said. "No you're not Chloe. You're not a 'savior'" I replied. "Like you know what a savior is. Look at you." She replied. "You wanna go! I'll go-" "stop!" Luke yelled. "We have more things to figure out, then you two fighting." He said. "Bitch." I said. "Whore." She replied.
We went left this time, which revealed a... Door? "Open it." I said. "No! You open it." Chloe replied. "I'm not-" "screw it. I'm gonna open it." Luke said pushing ME out of the way. "Damn. You happy." He said walking into the door.
We went into a dark room. With cages? "Wait. I-I've seen this before." I said. "Of course you did." Chloe said. "This is... No. It can't be." I said. "What can't be?" Luke asked. "When I was in the hospital. I saw my future. It was in... This room." I said. "DUCK!" Luke yelled. I fell to the ground. "Close one." He said. "Wait, so. You've seen this before." He asked. I nodded. "I didn't like it. You were screaming my name. I couldn't do anything. I was stuck inside a cage." I said.
"Who's there!" Someone yelled. I looked to a hallway, and saw a girl with a black jumper suit on. She had long brown hair, and brown eyes. "Who are you? And why are you here?" She asked. "Who are you?" Luke asked. "Ow!" I yelled. It was coming from my arm. I rolled up my sleeve, and saw my "tattoo" was... Glowing? "What the hell?" Luke said. "James. He was helping us. He knew. He helped us! Luke! He helped us!" I said. "Alright. Who are you." She said again.
A man came down the hallway. He has blonde hair, and blue eyes. His face was more red. "Jaclyn, what's going on." He said. "These children, decided to mess around. By coming down here." She said. "I'm sorry. Did you say Jaclyn?" I asked. "That's my name." She replied. My mouth dropped. "Andrew, take these kids to the cages please." She said.
"No! Wait!" I yelled. "Vi. No. Let's go." Luke said. "No Luke! I have to! I waited so many years for this." I said. The women looked at us. "Is your name Jaclyn Isabelle Damon?" I asked. She looked at me. "How do you know that name? I haven't been called a Damon in years." She said. "Because my name is Violet Isabelle Damon-Carson." I said. Her eyes widened. She stepped closer to me. "How can I be sure?" She asked. I looked at Luke. "Chloe, take cover." Luke said, going behind a table.
"Here goes nothing." I said. I clenched my fists, and the whole place started shaking. The women smiled. "My baby. My baby. My baby." She said hugging me. I smiled. "Luke. It's save now." I said. "This is Lucas Robert Hemmings." I said. She smiled. "Andrew, he's yours." She said. I smiled. "Who's this?" She asked. "Chloe woods." Chloe said, giving me a smirk. I rolled my eyes.
"So, we have come here to save you." Luke said. "Really! Oh finally!" Jaclyn yelled. "Well. Well. Well." Someone said. I turned around. "Wow. I never thought I would see you three again." He said. "Who are you." I said. "Me? Why I am Fraw." He said. "Leave them alone." Jaclyn said, getting in front of us. "No mom. Stay back." I said.
"Violet. I do believe you committed a crime." This Fraw said. "I did?" I asked. "Using your Damon side of the family. Which is another thing that your mother used." He said. "Take her to the cage." He said. And two big guys came running out. "No! Stop!" I yelled, as I was being dragged out of the room. "Stop!" Luke yelled. "No! No! No!" I yelled.
Obstacles. This is what they meant. Get through the obstacles. "Chloe. Stay here." I whispered. "Jump!" I yelled. "Run!" "Slide!" Duck!" "Kick!" I yelled.
I was in a room. The two men that took Violet came up behind me. I got thrown to the ground. "Stop!" Violet yelled. She was in front of me, in a cage. It was horrifying seeing her like that.
"This is not my future. This is not my future." I said over and over again. They were beating up Luke, and he was screaming my name. "This! This! Not! My! Future!" I yelled. The two men were jolted back, hitting the wall. The lock on the cage came undone, an the door opened. "Let's go!" I yelled picking Luke up.
"Chloe! We have to go!" Luke yelled. "Just leave her here! If she wants to find her dad, then she can! But I'm not sticking around." I yelled. "Fine! I'm coming!" She yelled.
"What the hell was that Violet! You could've got us killed back there!" Chloe yelled, and she pushed me. "Are you kidding me! You're the one who-" "enough! Both of you!" Luke yelled. "We didn't save our parents this time, but ne-" "there is no next time. This was our only chance, and... And she ruined it." Chloe said pointing at me. My mouth dropped. "Vi, I think you should go." Luke said. "You're taking her side. You only knew her for two months. You go with some girl, and leave your best friend behind. You're a great friend." I said walking backwards. "Violet-" "no. I'm done. Don't talk to me. Don't think to me. Just... Do what you do best, and stay away." I said.
I ran home, hysterical crying. I didn't want Luke to be in my life anymore. I didn't want him to be near me anymore.
When I got home, mrs. Hemmings was in the living room, talking to dad. I stopped running, and looked at them. "Violet. What's wrong." Mrs Hemmings asked getting up. I shook my head, and walked up the stairs.
"Mom! I didn't even do anything!" I yelled. "Do you know what you did to that poor girl! She came home, crying! Because of what you did." She said. "Is that a good or a bad thing?" I asked. "She won't come out of her room Lucas." She said. "Okay?" I asked. "Remember what happened the last time she wouldn't come out of her room. Didn't end so well did it." She said.
"Mom, she almost got us killed." I said. "No she didn't. She saw her mother Luke. When she saw her mother, she knew. She knew it was her." She said. "Still." I said. "So, you're gonna stay with Chloe. And believe everything that she says. Rather than be with your best friend, who you've known since you were a child." She said. I looked to the ground.
"You may have this gift Luke. But let me tell you now. You are still a teenager. And still my son. You do something to hurt someone, you get punished." She said. "And as of right now, that punishment is for you to talk to Violet. Make sure shes okay. And until you do that. You're grounded. Only time you leave this house is for school and training. After that, you come right home, and stay inside. You hear me." She said. I nodded. "Go to your room. Dinner will be ready soon. I'm gonna go check on Violet." She said.
