I woke up next to Chloe under my blankets. What happened last night? Then, it all came back. Drinking, dancing... Sex. "What am I doing here?" Chloe asked, as she sat up, still holding the blankets to her chest. "We uh..." I said. "No. No. No." She said.
"Is this yours?" I asked, showing a yellow bra. "It sure as hell ain't yours." She replied. "Damn. Your so moody." I said, throwing her bra to her. She laughed. "So, does this mean we're together again?" She asked. "I guess? I mean, if you want to." I said. "Okay! We're together again." She said.
"Leo." I said, walking into his room. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I need to tell you something." I said. "Alright." He replied, patting a spot on his bed. I smiled, and moved next to him.
"You know how mrs Hemmings always said that Luke and I will end up together?" I asked. He nodded. "That's not gonna happen. He's dating Chloe. The girl who was here yesterday." I said.
"Leo. Luke isn't like he used to be." I said. He looked at me. "He's a jerk now. He always lets me down. He always blocks me out. He's not himself. He's different." I said. He took my hands in his. "Did he do anything to hurt you?" He asked. I looked down. "Violet. Did he?" He asked. I sighed, and looked to my wrists.
He pulled my bracelets off, and gasped. "Violet." He said. "He didn't care. He didn't care that I started again. He didn't care that it was because of him." I said. He looked at me angrily, and got up. "I'll be right back." He said.
There was a loud banging on the front door. I got up, and opened it. "Don't say anything. We need to talk. Now." He said, shoving me to the side.
"How dare you not care about my sister!" He yelled. "I-" "don't say anything. Did you know she is in my room. Crying." He said. I sat there. "You were always by her side, helping her through the bad times, sticking up for her. What changed?" He asked. "Best friends don't do that Luke." He said.
"Can I speak now?" I asked. He nodded. "I didn't know she was still upset about it. She shields her feelings. She just needs to except the fact that I have a girlfriend." I said. "Who? Chloe? The one who abused Violet." He said. "She didn't abuse her! Violet is just jealous, and she doesn't want to admit it." I said.
"You go near my sister, I will hurt you. She doesn't need this." He said. "It's bad enough my parents are fighting, and with James, she doesn't need anymore stress." He said. "James? What happened with james?" I asked.
"He's back." Violet said. I looked to the door, and saw her. Standing there, crossed armed. She walked up to Leo, and put her arm around his waist. "What do you mean he's back!" I yelled. "He came to see me yesterday. When you left." She said.
"Like I said Hemmings, stay away." Leo said, before they left. "Wait. Violet." I yelled. She turned around. Leo grabbed her arm. She nodded and him, and he shook his head, and left.
"What color are your eyes?" Luke asked, as I walked into his house once again. "Um. Brown. Why?" I asked. I knew they were changing, and I told him. "They're a different color." He said. "Luke, I told you that yesterday." I said. "You did?" He asked. I nodded. "I told you that. Oh wait. You were hypnotized by your girlfriend." She said. I looked down.
"Why are you ashamed? You do know I'm not mad at you." I said. He looked at me. "I told you before. I don't care that you date her. But Luke, remember that I am still here. Remember that it is destiny for us to be together. But the one thing I will say, if anything happens, it will be your fault, if I get locked away. Not mine." I said.
