25. Chapter Twenty Five
Calum and Micheal were feeling guilty since they could have prevented her from leaving the party , but they were too drunk. Ashton was outside at the moment needed a peace of mind and then their is me balling my eyes out. Miss.T was keeping it strong and standing reassuring us all she would be fine , but the look in her eyes showed that even she was worried. I was twitching my fingers as time rolls by. Soon enough midnight was coming in ten minutes and my mom already is making me come home before one. My nerves are on end and I am just desperate for the doctor to come through the doors.
The notes were making a hole in my pocket. I choose not to give them to the others until it was for sure she was...was De- man I can't even say it. I can't think that way. The clock was about to mark 12:30 which would be the time I would've left , but the doctor finial came through the doors and called out for her aunt. Miss. T went to the doctor and the rest of us followed listening intently. The doctor was writing a few things down on his clip board before he said," She is fine, The cuts is her wrist ,while deep enough to kill her, were not open long enough to loose enough blood. We sewed up her wrist and check out the bump on her head from when she past out. It appears from what is seems she hit her head on the faucet of the tub." Everyone's mood was brought up from the news and Miss. T said," How long will she say and anything else I need to know or should do?" The doctor looked through the clipboard and said," We want to keep her here for a couple of days for examination. Before we clear her out to you we want to see if she shows symptoms to depression or other side effects from the bump on her head. I would suggest you keep things light with her when she gets home, for what ever reason she wanted to die it could be an over load of something like a environment change or other traumatic events. Keep an eye on her also and try and keep sharp objects away , but don't let her know that you are. Other than maybe having her see a therapist that is about it. I , however, would suggest you guys go and gets some sleep she will be out for hours and when she does wake we will only allow one person a day see her so we do not to over whelm her ." We all nodded our heads and he went back to work.
We all decided Miss.T will see her first tomorrow and so on throughout the week. Right before I left Miss. T stopped me and gave me a hug and said," Thank you for getting to her when you did. She wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you. Also thanks you for being their for her. What she has been through has been rough on her." I nodded me head and said ," Your welcome and goodnight I'll see you soon." We all left and soon I was in my bed not being able to sleep. I was up wondering what Violet was doing. I was wondering if she so happen to wake up and realize that she didn't die after all. Would she be joyful? Or would she blame me for calling 911? I manage to close my eyes , but when I reopen them the sun was up and the day was beginning.
The guys and I decided to meet up at Michael's today. When I showed up they were already there doing random things. I walked in and they said," HEY!" I usually would say something back but I just mumbled," I'm not in the mood for this stupid shit." I guess my anger took everyone back a bit and Ashton said," What's wrong . Violet is fine, what has you pants in a bunch?" I sat down on the sofa and said," I'm scared she will try it again or maybe will blame me for her living still. She wrote us notes and I read mine and I just I don't know what to think anymore. I don't know what I would even say or do." They sat next to me and Calum sighed and said," Maybe you should focused on less what to say and listen and less on what you will do , but what she wants to do." I looked at Calum and cocked my head and said," Since when did you tell advice?" He smirked and said," The minute you became a mail man and decided not to give us the letters she wrote." My face dropped because he was right I had no right to hold on to them. I had them in my pocket to and handed them theirs. I watched as their faces lit up with smiles, tears, and frowns.
