Parsley's Poem of the Day

HELLO! Welcome to my not-so-brand-new poetry collection! I will publish a new poem on here every day (all being well) for your enjoyment! If you want me to feature one of your poems don't hesitate to ask, otherwise they will all originate from the darkest depths of my mind.
Thanks to @SnowyWriter. for the idea!
If there's a poem you particularly like or dislike, let me know so I know what type of poem you prefer.
Enjoy! All poems ©Parsavagely 2014 - 2017 (excluding 'featured' poems)

The tale that died

There was once a tale of a girl in her coat,
Who ran with the stars in the sky,
You'd only see her if you'd lost all hope,
And had no reason why,
She'd find you in the darkness and tell you where she'd been,
Then tell of how she used to be a little boy who sinned.

It was often said the tale of the girl in the coat,
Was made up and false,
But many swore they's seen her ghost,
When all their doors were closed,
They say she finds you in the depths of your despair,
To tell you where she'd been and how long it took to grow her hair.

Now any years have passed and the tale of the girl in the coat,
Has somehow died,
The say it's because she could never cope,
No matter how hard she tried,
But if you look in the dark when you're lost she'll still find you,
To tell you where she'd been and tell you what you ought to do.

Thank you so much everyone, I can't say it enough. You lot are what keep me going and I love reading the comments, always brightens my day to see people enjoying my writing.

Seriously, I never expected to get this far and I'm still going strong. I can't imagine a day without a poem now.

(On a side note, when I get to one full year, should I continue on this movella or make a year #2 movella? Or both? Any other ideas?)
