She just ran out. Me and my temper, I swear Mum's going to kill me. I think she went to the grocery store. I grab my jacket and run out the door after her. Where could she have gone? She doesn't know where she's going. Oh my God. She's walking around SYDNEY with no clue where she is, and she's upset, and it's all my fault. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions, I should have asked... I don't even know where I'm going myself, just running. I stop at an alleyway. She wouldn't go through one, would she? I hear screaming coming from further down the alley. OH MY GOD IT'S HER VOICE! I run through it, passing drunk men and slutty girls. I'm run frantically, looking for her, following her voice.
'GET OFF ME!" I scream. I'm pressed against the wall of an alley by a drunk man.
'Shhhh baby,' the guy whispers. 'Stop screaming or there will be consequences.'
'HELP!' I scream out, crying. He slaps me across the face harshly, and I scream in pain. He starts to unbutton my top as I try struggling against his grip. I'm going to be raped against a wall. This is it.
'SADIE!' I hear somebody scream. It sounds like Calum. I turn my head as much as I can, but everythings blurry from my tears.
'HELP!' I scream. Calum throws the guy off me and I collapse to the floor, crying my heart out.
'YOU BASTARD!' I hear Calum screaming. 'YOU TRIED TO RAPE MY FUCKING COUSIN! YOU DICKHEAD!'
I'm still on the floor, crying, my top open. Calum runs over to me, crying, and he wraps me in a tight hug. 'I'm so sorry,' he whispers in my ear. 'I'm so, so sorry.'
I continue crying. 'Thank you,' I whisper between sobs.
'Don't thank me,' he says. 'Everything is my fault.'
'No,' I tell him. 'Let's go home: I'll explain everything.'
I am the BIGGEST idiot ever. She didn't do ANYTHING, it was Michael. He asked her to be his girlfriend. He just MET her, and she was my cousin too! She was basically off limits. Sadie nearly got raped too - all my fault! She's has the worst first day in Sydney ever! How could I do this to her? I'm just lucky she doesn't hate me. Now I'll protect her like she's my sister - I really will.
