"Okay now, make sure yall do yall's homework tonight,'' our English teacher spoke right before the bell for lunch rang.
I looked over to April and smiled. "I'm guessing its lunch time," she laughed as we walked out.
April and I walked into the cafeteria, and it was full of students as usual. I looked over at her and she had a worried look on her beautiful face.
"what's wrong?" I nudged her arm.
" Oh. Um, I'm not hungry. I'll go save us a spot," she quickly said and walked off.
God that would've been embarrassing, I thought as i sat at a table. How are you suppose to tell someone you just met, that you don't eat because you have a very serious problem? My thoughts got interrupted by someone's presence. I lifted my head up with curiosity. In front of me stood a tall dark haired boy. His face looked so familiar; I studied his face very carefully.
"Hey, my name's Calum," He slightly smiled. His Aussie accent sounded nothing like Luke's. Calum? ......
Him and his friend Michael were being mean to Luke this morning!
" I know who you are," My voice went into bitch mode. " You and your stupid friend were being mean to Luke this morning."
He gave me a guilty glance, then looked down. "what did he ever do to you?" I was starting to defend Luke like he was my best friend.
" Believe me, I dont wanna be mean to him. He seems like a pretty cool guy. But Michael is my best friend, and he hates Luke. So, I kinda have to hate him too, because Michael is my friend." Calum spoke with so much shame.
" April I got you a-" Luke paused and looked at Calum. "What do you want Calum?!" He yelled.
" I just wanted to talk to April because she seems like a pretty cool girl, but I'll leave," Calum got up and left.
Luke and I made eye contact, "Please don't talk to him or Michael. They aren't good people."
