"Cause you were mine for the summer. Now we know it's nearly over. Feels like snow in September, but I always will remember. You were my summer love." I studied the lyrics I had wrote. They flowed so smoothly out of my mouth. They were beautifully written in 4 days. A whole song written in 4 days... Damn I was good.
I walked over to the door, unlocked it, and then opened it. Calum was sitting there in the hallway.
"Hey! Are you okay??" He quickly got up from the floor.
"Yeah umm.. I was just writing a song."
"Really?! Can I hear?" I agreed so I led him to the piano. I didn't want him to think the song was shitty, because I wasn't the best song writer. But I played it for him anyway.
"Summer Love. That's the title," I said as I finished playing it. He sat back with a smile on his face.
"That was beautiful April! I never knew you were a song writer," he paused and looked at me," I am too. For the band." Knowing that bit of information about him, just made him so much more attractive. I felt a connection between us, and I know he did too. All of a sudden I felt a pair of plump lips on mine. He was even more beautiful when he kissed me. His kiss sent chills down my spine. Placing my hand on his shoulder, I broke the kiss. Our foreheads were softly pressed against each others in a quiet passion. His dimples were so so so so! adorable when he smiled.
"That was amazing," I broke the silence with true meaning. He kissed my forehead and walked out of the room; I followed him.
"So are you ready to go back to school tomorrow?" he asked as he looked through his closet.
"Sure," I lied. The thought of seeing Allison Tira's ugly face, sent anger throughout my entire body.
Next Day... Calum's POV:
I stood over April's bed watching her sleep. Not like a creeper or anything right? Totally not like a creeper. The way she slept was so... so beautiful. Her angelic hair and her beautiful little eyes shut. It was 6:40 a.m. Monday morning.
"What?" she said in a sleepy voice.
"Time to get up for school."
"Ughhhh!!!" I smiled at her grumpiness, the quickly headed downstairs. My lovely sister Molly was making breakfast.
"Morning annoying little brother." She couldn't greet me any nicer than that, so I just smiled at her.
"Can you make April some pancakes too?"
"Ugh!!! I ain't gonna be cooking all the time! But I guess just this time!" She yelled.
My car was such a mess, so I went out to the garage to clean it. I was taking April to school this morning.
It was 7:15 a.m. when I finished putting on my makeup.
I didn't want to see Allison... How come Luke never told me about their relationship? If he was trying to get back at me for saying yes to Calum, then he had gone to far.
"April." My thoughts got interrupted. "Are you ready?" Calum flashed me his cute adorable smile.
"Yeah," I said as I got my phone and backpack. He led me to his car.
"2005 GT Ford Mustang. Nice," I said as we got in and began the drive to school.
7:30, we arrived at the school. I got out of the car as he rolled down the passenger window. I leaned into the car, and he gave me a sweet little peck on the cheek.
"I'll pick you up after school." With those words, he drove off.
"April! Where have you been girl?!" My friend Janelle hugged me.
"Long story... let's just go inside," I said as I took her arm and dragged her inside the school.
"You're the first and last thing on my mind, each and everyday."
