11. Father but no dad

12 weeks pregnant

I was laying on the couch with Daniel rubbing my feet when the camera's came through the front door and began placing microphones on us. I sighed as I laid back down. I wasn't really sure how this was going to be interesting at all.

"So, when is your next doctors appointment?" Daniel asked me.

"Oh, I don't even know." I said trying to sit up but I wasn't able to. My body never bounced back and then I got pregnant again and my belly began to expand.

"When will you be able to find out the sex?" He asked.

"Uh, with Ryder I think we found out about the sixteenth week? Do you remember?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I didn't go with you." He answered. Oh right, I forgot. For the last like 24 weeks of my pregnancy, I went to the appointments alone.

"Oh." I answered.

"Okay, we want to interview you both at the same time about this topic." I nodded my head sitting up straighter. "What did you feel when you realized he wanted no part of the pregnancy?" She asked and I glanced at Daniel who wanted to know the answer.

"I thought I was crazy and that I was stupid. He would never marry me if he didn't want a child, he knew that's what I wanted. I wanted to die but knew I couldn't. It was one of the worst things I've ever been through. I'm glad he's back."

"Daniel, how did you feel."

"I don't even know. I know I was stupid. At the time I thought it was the right thing to do because I didn't want Ryder to get used to me being there and then her not knowing where I went. And then there was always this empty feeling and I knew that they belonged there." He answered.

"How about, we go out to dinner?" Daniel asked.

"Sure." I answered getting Ryder ready and sticking her in her seat but we didn't get her out the door fast enough because she began to cry. She hated that seat. She also hated the car and one of us usually ended up back there.

"I got her." He said when I went to bend down to pull her out. He carried her out the front door and he sang to her. I sighed as I followed behind them and locked the door. I placed her seat in the car and Daniel placed her in the seat and then climbed into the back with her.

"Where should we go?" I asked looking in the mirror.

"Wherever you would like to go." When I pulled out of the driveway Harry was at the bottom looking at his house.

"What are you doing?" I asked rolling down the window.

"We someone got bats in attic. I'm trying to see where they came in from." He answered. "Where are you guys going?" He asked turning to look at us and he waved at Daniel in the back.

"We are going out to dinner." I answered.

"Alright well have fun." I laughed.

"You too."

"You really have a nice relationship with Harry." Daniel said and I nodded my head. "You should marry him." He said looking out the window. I'm sorry, is he jealous that I talk to other men?

"You mean the gay Harry Styles-Tomlinson who is married to Louis Styles-Tomlinson?" I asked. "And they have three children together. Like me and you do?" I asked looking at him and giving him a smirk.

"Yeah, that one." He said and I laughed.

"Are you jealous?" I asked and he shook his head real fast. He had put his piercings back in and I didn't mind. Piercings don't make him a bad father.

"I am not jealous." I laughed more.

"You are!" I said. Ryder's cry filled the car and I drove a little faster down the street to the nearest place to eat and he carried her seat in. "So, are you going to help me paint the nursery or I should I hire people to do it?" I asked him and he shrugged. The waitress came over and we ordered some drinks and some starters. We got chicken wings and some cheesy potatoes. I was actually super happy about it. I always made Daniel run out and buy them for me and he always would.

"Whatever you would like. Maybe we should wait to find out the sexes of the babies first." I nodded my head. I knew Daniel was praying for at least one little boy but I wasn't sure what I wanted. If there was only one I would want a boy so there could be one of each gender but because there is two in there, one of them is going to be out numbered.

"Still have a few more weeks." Lately I have been wondering where my father was. Even though he was an evil man I hope that he found love with someone.

"What are you thinking about?" Daniel asked once we were both showered and in bed with Ryder fast asleep down the hall.

"My dad." I said turning on my side to look at him and he looked confused. "Do you think he's still alive?" I asked and he shrugged as he got into bed with me.

"Hope he didn't knock anyone up." He said. My phone began ringing on the bedside table and Daniel picked it up.

"What's up?" He asked and wanted for an answer before his face twisted and he looked super confused. "What?" He asked for what seemed like the forth time. "We can't, we just put Ryder to sleep. What's going on?" He waited for a reply before giving his answer. "I'll see what I can do."

"What's going on?" I asked when he hung up and he flung out of bed.

"You're never going to guess who showed up on Beau's front porch about fifteen minutes ago." I looked at him confused. "Your father." He said and the breathe caught in the back of my throat. I've always wanted to meet him again but I didn't think we would be seeing him right now. I quickly got out of bed.

"Should we bring Ryder with us?" I asked and he shrugged.

"It's up to you. But what else would we do with her?" He asked and I shrugged as I threw on one of his dirty pig sweatshirts and ran to get her. I did my best to keep her asleep. She woke up for like three seconds before falling asleep again and I was able to get her in the car and not have to worry about it. When I got to Beau's I would just lay her down in the guest bedroom. I raced over to his house making sure that we didn't crash but I was able to be there when my father got there.

"Hey." I said to Beau who met us both at the front door.

"I'll put her in the guest bedroom." Daniel said taking her from me.

"He's got two kids with him." Beau said and I nodded my head as I walked into the kitchen that was built onto the living room where Beau's three girls were sitting perched up listening to stories that my father was telling them.

"Violet." He said standing up and looking at me. "You look amazing." He said and I wasn't sure what to do but Daniel walked into the room.

"You remember Daniel." I said and they shook hands.

"How have you been?" He asked.

"Good good." I said glancing at the two kids who looked about 12 and 9. A boy and a girl. "Who's this?" I asked.

"These are my kids, Scarlett and Lip." Lip?

"It's short for Philip." The boy answered. I nodded my head sitting down.

"Violet, do you have any kids?" He asked and I nodded.

"Me and Daniel have a daughter together and we have two more on the way." I answered. He nodded his head. "What are you doing here?" I asked. I wanted to hear this. I wanted to know what he had to say to the children he left and what he had to say about having two more after us four.

"I need some help." I looked at him confused.

"What?" I asked and I saw Beau take a step forward at the way I said the word. "You need our help? After not being around for us in 24 years?" I asked. I didn't care that his new kids were in the room, there was no reason as to why he needed our help.

"Violet, please just hear me out."

"Why should I? You left us remember?" I asked.

"I know I did and I'm sorry but I need your help!" He said. I wasn't giving him money. I wasn't going to help him in any way if he needed money. He left me. I was abused for my entire childhood because of him. My mother drank herself to death.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I'm dying and these kids don't have anyone else. I need you to take them in." My mouth dropped. He really expected us to take in his kids when we all have kids of our own?

"You want us to take them in while we are trying to start our families?" I asked. Beau had three girls and I knew that he was trying for more. Hayden was also trying for more and Jai and his wife were working to have their first.Darcy climbed into my lap and rested her hands on the very very small bump that was there.

"I need you too. They have no where else to go." He said.

"How did you even find us?"

"Magazines." He said. I mentally cursed because he obviously knew we had money from our house's. Our houses were all very big and clearly we had room for his kids, my siblings.

"Well I can't take them. I have two more babies on the way." I said. I knew Jai would most likely take them. Jai had been whispering with Eve all night so I figured they would be taking them.

"We can take them." Jai said and we all looked over at him. I sighed. I could not believe that this was happening and of course they don't have anyone else to go to. I was so angry with him! He left us! 24 years ago to go and do who knows what and all of a sudden he comes back and he really thinks that we would take his children? That I would? He's got another thing coming. Daniel was nearly falling asleep next to me.

"You guys can stay in the guest bedroom." Beau said shaking Daniel awake. We headed up to the room where Ryder was laid in her car seat on the bed sucking her pointer finger on her left hand.

"Are you okay?" He asked and I shrugged. I wasn't really sure what was going to happen now. I didn't want to be apart of their life, why would I do? We all had a shitty father and if he didn't want
