"Are you excited to go back to California?" Ashton asked. "A little. I'm gonna miss it here. It's so pretty here. But I'm gonna miss your moms cooking the most." I replied. He laughed. "You can always come back and visit." He said.
I looked at him. "Ashton, I barely have enough money to send Jaclyn to school. Her school money was the last bit I had. I can't afford a plane ticket. I can't even pay rent." I said. He looked at me. "Babe, why didn't you tell me. I have money, I could have gave you some." He said. "That's the thing. I can't take your money. Even if it helps. I may have to live on the streets, but... I know I have you." I replied.
"How are we gonna work this out." I said. "Work what out?" Ashton asked. "You leaving again." I said. "Just like how you did before?" He questioned. "How am I supposed to know you're safe. Or, your not cheating on me with some girl, who's prettier, smarter, and doesn't have a kid." I said. I looked to the ground, and a tear rolled down my face.
"Ashley." He said. "Ashley, look at me." He said, lifting my chin up. "I will never cheat on you. Yes, I may have that first month of dating, but I promise I will never cheat on you. There isn't anyone in this world that is prettier than you." He said. "Now, let's get to that airport, and get us on that plane." He said taking my hand.
I put my head on Ashton's shoulder. Jackie was asleep in my arms. I closed my eyes, but woke up. I did that about five times. "Babe, it's alright. You can sleep." Ashton said. "I'm not tired." I replied. "Ashley, sleep. For me. Please." He said. "Fine." I said.
"Hey ash!" The guys yelled through Skype. "Hey." I said. "So we have a question." They said. I looked at them. "When you get here, are you up to going to some clubs?" Cal asked. "Guys, I can't." I said. "Why?" They asked. "Ashley. Shes going through some really rough problems." I said. "Alright." They said.
"Babe, we're here." Ashton said. I smiled. "I got her. You get your things." He said, picking up Jackie.
