"Dad, I'm going to school early. I need to catch up on some work." I said. "Alright. Don't forget you have to watch Jackie today." He replied. "I know. I'm probably going to bring a friend over, to help me." I said. "Okay. Have a good day. Oh. Don't forget I'm going on my business trip tomorrow." He said. "I know." I replied. "I would love to stay, but I have to go." I said. "Bye." He said kissing my head.
"It's Ashley green!" Someone yelled. I turned around to see people with cameras following me. "Ashley, are you and Ashton dating?" Someone asked. I kept walking. This never happened before, and this is exactly what Ashton wanted to avoid. "Ashton, I need you." I said into my phone. "Where are you?" He asked. "In front of the Starbucks that I work at." I replied. "I'll be there in a second." He said hanging up his phone.
Ashton arrived two minutes later in his car. "What happened?" He asked. "I was walking to school, and people with cameras came running after me." I replied. He sighed. "This is what I didn't want happening." He said.
"You're going to school? This early?" He asked. "Yea, I have some things I need to check on, and I have to set up for you today. Since you're doing another little show." I replied. He looked at me. "Fine. I was going to Annelyy's house. My clothes are boring, and hers aren't. My dad wants me to be this amazing person, just like my mom. He wants me to go to Harvard." I replied.
"I'll see you when you get to the auditorium." Ashton said. I nodded. "Everything alright?" He asked. "Yea, it's just, in a few months you won't be here." I replied. "Don't think about that. We have ten more months until we leave." He replied. "I'll request the perfect spot for you at the show today." He said. I smiled. "Bye." I said. "See you in a little." He said as I got out of the car.
"Ash!" Annelyy yelled. "Hey. Sorry I wasn't answering your calls." I said. "It's fine. Hey, are you going to the show today?" She replied. "Of course. I have to support my... Friends." I replied. "Why did you hesitate on friends?" She asked. "Just felt weird." I replied. "You're dating Ashton!" She yelled. I covered her mouth with my hand. "No one can know." I said. "Why!" She yelled. "Because we are keeping it a secret." I replied. "That secret got out. There's a picture of you two going into his hotel the other day." She replied. "What!" I yelled. "Yea. Here look." She said taking a magazine out. "Oh my god! If my sister sees this, im dead! My dad will flip." I said.
As Annelyy and I entered the auditorium, everyone stared at me. "Ashton is waiting in the back." The security guard, who helped us through the crowd the other day said. I smiled and walked back.
"Did you see the magazine!" I yelled. Ashton nodded. "But your head was down, they only got your name, which is bad, but they didn't get your face." He said. I nodded. "my dad is going to flip." I said. "Maybe this is good." He said. I shrugged.
"Can you come over?" Ashton asked as music class ended. "No, I have to watch Jackie. My dad leaves tonight for his business trip, so he needs to pack." I replied. "Oh." Ashton replied. "But... Jackie requested a specific person to come over." I said. He smiled. "I'll take you home after school, and we will watch Jackie." He said. I nodded.
"Jackie!" I yelled as I entered the house. She ran out with paint all over her. "What happened to you!" I yelled. "Rachel." She said smiling. "Ashton, can you wash her? Please?" I asked. He nodded.
"What did you do to your sister?" I asked Rachel. "Ever heard of knocking?" She asked. "I'm in charge until dad gets back, so you follow my rules now." She rolled her eyes
