We finished painting the room that night. It looked really nice, and of course, Michael won our little contest.
"I should get going now." Michael yawned and said.
"Do you want to sleep at my place? I don't want you sleeping in here."
"That'd be nice."
"Okay, meet me there in whenever." He smiled and kissed me on the cheek. Then he walked out.
I looked out my window and saw Michael rushing to clean up his room. It was cute.
I left a note for my mom saying that I was sleeping at my friends house, and went over to Michael's house.
I knocked on the door.
"One minute!" He screamed from up the stairs.
Within a minute he came running down the stairs. "Hey, Mikey." I smiled. "Mikey? I like it." He said and giggled. I did too.
He showed me around his house. It was really nice. No one was home except him.
"Want to watch a movie?" He asked.
"Sure, what do you want to watch?"
"I don't have anything in mind, but we'll find something."
He grabbed my hand and led me up to his room. He did a horrible job at cleaning up, he just shoved things in places they didn't belong. The only thing that looked nice was his bed. It was made perfectly.
"Make yourself at home." He smiled
I sat on his bed, I felt really awkward. I don't know why. I just did.
He turned on his Xbox and put on Netflix. He tossed the controller at me, hitting my arm. "Choose something!"
"You hurt me!" I cried.
"Aw, I'm sorry. I'll make it all better." He kissed my arm and we both laughed.
He turned off the light and jumped onto the bed and put some random horror movie on.
"Michael, I think I'm gonna run home and get a change of clothes." I said, noticing I was still wearing my jeans.
He got up without saying anything and started searching through his drawer. He found a big Rolling Stones t-shirt. It was gray and really faded, and it had a few holes.
"Here. Is this good enough for you?"
"Thank you." I smiled.
I stood up, my back facing him, and took my pants off. I glanced back and saw him staring. I took my shirt off and turned back to his bed to get the t-shirt.
"Wow." His eyes were huge.
I giggled and put his t-shirt on. He pulled down the covers and got under. I laid down beside him and he pulled me closer. He kissed my forehead and whispered, "I love you, Alice." Into my ear. "I love you too, Michael." He kissed me, so passionately. It was so amazing. At that moment, as we lay in his bed kissing, I knew I was in love with him.
We had really gotten to know each other tonight. He told me his story about how he was so depressed. He had no friends and would cut his wrists and cry every night. I was the same way. We had so many things in common, the music we listened to, the clothes we wore, what we liked to do and all that. We were like the same person.
I fell asleep that night with the most beautiful girl in my arms. I've never felt this way about anyone. But Alice is different.
I woke up smiling. Unlike last time she slept here, when I woke up she was still here. She looked adorable when she was sleeping. I could watch her sleep forever.
I thought about what she would want to do today. But, then I remembered that I won the competition, so I got to choose what we did.
I laid there with Alice laying next to me for an hour, just thinking about what I wanted to do.
I decided that I would take her to one of my favorite places. And we could have a little picnic.
