"Should I answer it?" I thought to myself as I stared at Ashton's display photo. I did. "What do you want?" I asked. He immediately hung up. Something was going on. Then my doorbell rang. I ran downstairs, slightly opened the door and stuck my head out. "Can I come in?" Calum asked shyly. I opened the door all the way as he walked in. "I have to tell you something." He whispered. "Let's go up to my room." I said, leading him up the stairs. I sat on my bed and he sat on a chair across from me. "What do you need to tell me?" He looked down at his hands for a few seconds, then back up at me. "Michael is..." He paused. "Michael is what?" I almost wanted to shout. "Cheating on you." I felt my eyes swelling up with tears. They started to fall, one by one. I started to shake, and my eyes poured out tears. I sank into my bed and buried my head in a pillow. "Oh god." Calum said as he walked over and sat down next to me. "It's okay. Alright? Come here." He forced me to sit up and threw both his arms around me. "Want me to leave?" He asked. "No. Stay. Please?" "Of course." He laid down and gently pulled me down with him. I woke up and grabbed my phone. 13 texts, all but one from Michael. They said things like, "I love you. I miss you. Where are you. What happened." I ignored them. A minute later he messaged me again, "You know it says you read my messages, right?" "Do you think I'm stupid, Michael?" "What?" Despite him texting me every five minutes, I didn't answer. At night I could hear him sobbing, through my window. I peered at him, he laid in his bed, knees pulled up to his chest. His lights were out, the only light was the street light shining through his window. He played his music on a small speaker, I couldn't make out what was playing even though his window was wide open. I just wanted to run over and cry with him. But I ignored it.
