We walked out to the garden. The sky was setting in lovely shares of pink and orange and red and yellow. It was stunning. I was shaking from the height and the fact that I fell off once. "Are you alright?" Eliza asked me, furrowing her eyebrows in concern.
"Yeah. Totally." I said, avoiding her eyes. Heights and falling made me...shaky. We turned a corner away from the palace and a burst of cool, fresh, flowery air hit my face. My nose. Freshness- everywhere. I closed my eyes and held my arms out sideways as a bird would, embracing it all.
Bo placed his hand on my shoulder, turning me around to face him. "What are you doing?" He asked, a hint of laughter in his voice.
"Embracing the outdoors." I responded, looking him squarely in the face. He leaned forward and gave me a sweet, little kiss on the lips, and that left me reeling. Nearly dizzy. I took a deep, cleansing breath. "It's a good thing we're outside or else that might of ended up..." I faded off, not sure what I was going to say, or what I was hinting at, but my cheeks flushed and I guess that held the answers.
"Ended up...?" Asked Bo, hinting me towards something. I hit his shoulder, annoyed and turned my back to him and walked forward to find Eliza staring at a bench with a ball on it.
"Seriously?" She asked. Bo grinned.
"Wouldn't want it too be to hard!" He said optimistically. I had an urge to hit him again. Eliza picked the ball up and said
"Next up- Throne Room!"
On the long walk to the Throne Room, because apparently, even through it was the furthest away it was the next one, Bo kept teasing me and Eliza kept nudging me with her full arms suggestively. I elbowed her back playfully. She whispered something to me. "What?" I asked. She said something again, a little louder- but barely. "What?" I asked again. Eliza sighed loudly.
"I think Bo is trying to get your attention!" She said loudly, getting the attention of King Silas' group and then he gave me a weird stare. I flushed and looked forward.
"What would make you say that?" I asked Eliza, hushed.
"Look behind you." She said shortly "Its very obvious to all but you." I looked behind me and saw Bo grinning, his arms up and fingers curled like a child's drawing of a monster about to attack. When he saw me he stopped and pouted for a second.
"Thanks Eliza." He said sarcastically, glowering.
"Were you going to scare me?" I asked, eyebrows going up in surprise.
"And it would've been mighty." He said, making a face.
"What?" I asked slowly, uncertainly. He chose that moment to grab me with both hands as he tried to do in the library and he threw me over his shoulder as a sack of flour. Then he ran. I bounced up and down and shrieked loudly. It sounded horrible to my ears and I grimaced for a second and then focused my attention to kicking my legs- which he was holding, and pounding my fists on his back.
Eliza, who was watching us from a way back, as Bo had run, was grinning and also grimacing at the same time. She began to laugh when I started to hit him. Then, seeing as Bo wouldn't stop I relaxed and after a minute or so I extended and looked back at him and whispered in his warm ear.
