5. Chapter #5
We walk into the library, and go to front desk. "Where would the city files be at?" I ask the woman. "Those aren't available to the public," she says. "Oh, we're doing a report at school on our city. Maybe about some of our town hero's. Do you know where we could find information about some of the cool things about it?" Xavier asks. "Our online website is full of information about the town. Hero's, mayors, old buildings, tons of stories," she smiles. "Our family doesn't have any computers. We're going through a bit of a rough patch, and my step dad says no unnecessary items," I sigh. "Oh. I'm sorry. You could use our computers here. There down stairs, second door to the left," she says. "Thank you," I reply. "Your welcome sweetheart. Good luck on your report," she says. I nod my head, and we walk downstairs. "Your such a little liar," he laughs. "Well so are you," I reply. "We make a good team," He says. "I agree," I say as we walk into the second door on the left. The room was full of computers. "I go and sit down on one, and he pulls up a chair next to me. "Wanna have a race who can hack the site first?" I ask. "Yah sure," He says. He sits up to the computer next to me, and turns it on. "Ready, set, hack," he says. A few minutes of computer genius, and we both shout done at the same time. "Tie," I laugh. We give each other a high-five," and start looking. "Who are you looking at first, there's so many people!" he says scrolling through. "Not sure yet," I reply, knowing exactly who I was going to look at. I go to the search bar, and search Justin Bieber. I look at the picture of him, he actually didn't look anything like I expected. I go to his page, and look at his information. He was born in 1994, he died 2014, same year I was born. He didn't get married, but did have a girlfriend named Page. She died the same time he did. They had a baby girl, who went missing just after there death. I wonder how much information about the baby they have. I go the baby's page. Born 2014, specific's were unknown. Her name was-. Oh my god. Oh my god! Her name was Adeline Bieber. The last shred of evidence I needed, was that she went missing at one week old, the same age I was when I was dropped at the orphanage. Did I really just find out who I was? I started crying. The answers I've been wanting all my life, has just been given to me. It almost seemed too easy though.
