I lay an Xavier's chest, trying to sleep, but I couldn't. I climb out of bed, and head down stairs to the living room. I sit on the couch and stare out the window. I have a family now. But will they keep me? And how long can we hide from the cops. They're bound to find us someday. Maybe my uncle could just adopt me. But is he ready for that? I don't think he'd want me. And that gang, what would they really do if I found them and tolled them who I was? I had so many questions running through my head, I didn't even realize I had started crying. I wipe off my tears, and decide I wanted to go for a walk. I go upstairs and put on clothes. A pair of black skinny jeans, a red and black plaid flannel, and a black tank underneath. I pull my hair into a ponytail, and put on my pair of black and white converse. My aunt took me and Xavier clothes shopping earlier, she's super nice. I go down stairs again, and out the door. I start walking down the street, looking around. The fresh air is nice. I start humming a bit, kicking rocks as I walked. "Boo," I jump as someone grabs my arms. "Hehe, I scared you," Xavier says wrapping his arms around my stomach from behind me, and resting his head on mine. "Yeah, you did," I admit laughing a little. "Why didn't you wake me up to go with you?" He asks. "I was going to let you sleep. Plus if I tolled you I wanted us to go on a walk in the dark, you'd say it wasn't safe," I say. "You are very correct. Let's go back," he says, teasing. "Haha, very funny," I roll my eyes. "So where are we going?" He asks, holding my hand as we now walk down the street. "No clue," I say. "And this is why I caught up with you," he says, shaking his head and chuckling. "What if they don't want me? What if they kick us out? Or turn us into the cops?" I ask him. "Your aunt and uncle?" he asks. I nod my head. "That's not gonna happen Addy. I promise," he says looking me in the eyes. "How do you know for sure though?" I ask him worried. "Hey. They love you. I've seen it. They're not gonna do anything like that, okay?" he says. I nod my head. He pulls me into a hug, and holds me tight. "I know your scared. But I promise that every thing will work out," he says, then kisses the top of my head. "I don't know what I'd do without you," I say. "You'd die," he says. We both laugh, then go back to walking down the street.
1 Hour Later
We find a park and go and sit in a clearing, and look at the stars. "She made it out of the building and starts running down the street, only to run into another zombie. She's taken back as she realizes the zombie is her boyfriend Xavier. She forgot she left him behind, and now he's one of them. She didn't have the heart to kill him, so instead she just stared in shock as he came at her. Once he got to her, instead of eating her brains, he started making out with her," Xavier laughs. "What! No, you can't do that," I laugh. "Why not?" He chuckles. "Zombies can't feel. You'd just eat my brains," I say. "No. If I was a zombie I would still make out with you," he says. "Whatever," I giggle. We've always loved making up stories. It's just something we've always done to keep us entertained. "You know I would," He says. "I guess we are talking about you, so your probably right," I say, smiling at him.
