The War of Four Worlds

"I race through the woods, dodging trees and leaping over boulders, careful not to slip on the thin layer of frost on the ground. I routinely glance over my shoulder, seeing the pack of wolves quickly gaining on me.
I come to a halt when I reach a drop-off. Very long way down, and the cliff is vertical, no way to slide anyways. I hear the panting and paws crunching snow, so I'll try something new."

Read it to figure out what this is about! Hint: it gets very science fictioney (that's not a word) and there's plenty of blood and stuff so be warned.

Also, watch the 'trailer' (it's just a song, actually, but if you like rock music you should listen to it).

3. Chapter 3

Even immortal beings need sleep. I am about 200 years old and Jonah is almost 400, thanks to science. Despite being far behind most other planets', Earth's science has come a long way, curing cancer before I was born, exploring the entire galaxy when I was 5, even devising a system for a single, global unity when I was 17, which is when I was made undying to eventually become the ruler of the Earth.

But the scientists never did cure feelings if anxiety, not completely. Sure, someone can pop a pill and soothe their emotions, but does that really help? Not when said person is about to re-enter a war against an alien race led by the most ruthless alien mastermind of all.

So I lay in my bed, staring at the ceiling, not worried for my own life, of course, but hesitant to cause the death of thousands of my loyal followers.

A rap on the door interrupts my thoughts.

"Come in." Jonah peeks his head through the door, white hair ruffled from sleep.

"You okay? Big day tomorrow." I nod.

Jonah walks in and sits on the edge of my bed, wrapping his arms around me.

"I'm tired of watching them die, Jonah," I whisper.

"If we don't win this war, every planet in your solar system and mine will belong to Zane and Roseanne."

"I know, but . . . it won't even matter if they're already dead."
