[a/n: DOUBLE UPDATEEE :P xx]
Harry walked around the back of the SUV, opening the trunk. He pulled my duffel bag out with ease, his muscles flexing underneath his crisp black and white shirt. I caught myself staring, causing me to shift uncomfortably in place. "Yes, Ireland Liv," he smiled. Black sunglasses covered his eyes. "How many times do I have to repeat it?"
"As many fucking times as I need you to," I replied wittily, a playful smirk across my lips.
He froze, and I knew he was staring at me through his glasses. He raised his eyebrow before smirking. "Someone's feeling quite bold right now aren't they?"
I chuckled. "You better get used to it pretty boy." He rolled his eyes. "Because we are going to be spending a lot more time together."
"Yes, pretty boy." I was grinning as I watched his dimples form on his cheeks.
He slammed the trunk down and handed me my bag. But, not before grabbing my wrist and pulling me to him. He pushed me up against the car, immediately silencing me.
God, he smelled so good.
My heart was in my throat, as the proximity of his body to my own made me panic inside. His lifted his sunglasses off of his eyes with one hand, and placed them on the crown of his head. Lust filled his green eyes, as he stared at me intimately. He leaned down, his lips grazing the top of my ear. "I don't think I'll mind that all," he mumbled huskily.
And then he quickly released my wrist, the sudden loss of contact making me tremble inside. Harry walked off without saying another word, leaving me sulking behind him. I followed him, my legs numb. My entire body numb.
He didn't even touch me, but I felt like a million volts of electricity just radiated throughout my body. From behind, I admired his confident stride. His lean build. The man really did know how to dress, and that's what makes him even more attractive.
He was truly something else...
"Can you guys just please fuck already?!" a disembodied voice said.
My eyes widened. I quickly turned around to find Ren, a smirk plastered across his lips. My cheeks felt like they were on fire as I began to blush. "Shut up!" I hissed at him playfully, before hitting his arm.
He winced in pain. "What?" he asked innocently, "Don't try to act like you don't see it either."
I scoffed. "See what?"
Ren chuckled. He loosened up the black tie wrapped around his neck, and let out a sigh. "You don't notice the way he looks at you?" My eyes locked on Harry as he was talking to the pilot of his private jet. He occasionally looked over at me, a delicate smile across his pink lips. "I've never heard of Mr. Styles ever, ever setting his sights out for someone."
I pulled a strand of my hair behind my ear. "And is that a bad thing?"
He sighed, before rolling his eyes. "I don't know Ms. Knight? You tell me? Look at where you are right now. Look at what you are about to do."
And with that, Ren walked away. Those thoughts began to linger throughout my mind.
"Congratulations Liv, you are now on Mr. Styles's radar."
Now, I'm starting to realize why that may not be such a good thing after all...
"Hey," Harry greeted me, his fingertips slightly grazing my forearm. I leaned away from his touch, a small frown forming over his lips. "The pilot says that we can get on board now," he continued. Harry waved me over towards the plane, and I followed him. "Plus, I have to show you some of the perks of having a private jet."
Harry raised his hand out in front of him as soon as we made it to the steps which led to the plane. "Watch your step."
He helped me up the pair of steep steps and once I made it on board, my eyes widened. "Woah."
I glanced around the large cabin. Every seat was covered in black leather...just like his house. A flat screen TV was plastered on the wall. The cabin smelt just like him: musky with a hint of mint. The intoxicating smell filled my nose. God.
By the looks of it, he obviously travels a lot. I mean why wouldn't he though? He is Harry Styles.
Harry chuckled as he noticed the amount of childlike fascination on my face. "There's more. C'mon, follow me."
I followed Harry towards the back of the jet, where there were a pair of black double doors. He pushed through the bulky doors, to reveal a luxurious suite. "Back here is where you and I will be staying."
There was a large, king sized bed that was covered in red.
Red blankets. Red pillows. Red sheets.
Finally, something other than the color black.
My eyes wandered across the few paintings on the walls, the small black sofa in the corner. He set my black duffel bag on top of the bed, and sat down. My eyes continued to glance around the large, spacey room. "U-Umm maybe I should take my stuff to my room?" I suggested.
"I don't think that's possible Liv," Harry smiled.
I folded my arms across my chest. "And why not?"
His hand rubbed against the edge of his sharp jawline and he bit on his lip. "Well, unless you want to sleep on the wing of the plane," he chuckled. "This," he glanced around, "is the only room available."
"We're sharing a bed?" I squeaked.
A look of amusement spread across Harry's face. "Is there a problem?" he asked, his eyebrow slightly cocked.
My face flushed. "N-No," I spit out nervously. "Not at all."
Me and Harry. In a bed together. That definitely does not sound like a good idea.
Harry noticed the look of uncertainty on my face. "Trust and believe," he said. "I am the best sleeping buddy in the entire world," Harry said, before he winked. "Plus it's only about a 8 or 9 hour flight. We have a couple of layovers in between. You'll be fine Olivia."
"What did I tell you about that?" I growled at him. He crossed his arms over his chest and chuckled. Rolling his eyes, he sighed.
"Sorry. Out of habit," he confessed.
Harry walked over to the nearby dresser, where he pulled one of the drawers out. He pulled out a plain, light blue t-shirt and threw it across his shoulder.
"A-Are you going to change? Because I can le-"
Without warning, Harry started unbuttoning his dress shirt. I quickly spun around, hoping that he didn't see the rosy color that washed over my cheeks. However, a low chuckle that he let out confirmed that he did.
"It's fine," he said, his deep and throaty voice filling my ears. "Too late now." My foot began to tap on the ground as I waited for him to be completely dressed and finished. I could feel tiny beads of sweat pricking at my forehead.
Chill out Liv! You're acting like one gigantic hormone!
"Okay," he mumbled, "you can turn back around now."
With a sigh, I spun back around. A pair of grey sweatpants were hanging low on his hips. His hair still messily (but sexily) sprawled across his head.
"Woah," I said, my eyes soaking in every inch of his new attire. He quickly pulled down his shirt, but not before I could catch a glimpse of his slightly tanned and tattooed skin. I licked my lips unintentionally. "You actually own a pair of regular clothes?"
Harry laughed. "Unfortunately," he replied while picking up his old clothes off of the floor. He began to fold them slowly. "On rare occasion will you see me in something so..."
"Unprofessional?" I challenged. "Casual?"
He scoffed. "Sure, I guess." I nodded, before pulling my phone out of my pocket. "Oh yeah," he said. In a few strides, he was in front of me. "I need you to give me your phone."
My mouth opened slightly in protest. "Umm, why?"
In the blink of an eye, Harry snatched the phone out of my hand before throwing it on the ground. I watched as my phone broke into a million tiny pieces.
"What the he-"
"They can track us Liv," he elaborated. "We don't need them on our tail." Harry then walked over to a nearby drawer, where he paused and smiled. "Don't worry though. I have a replacement phone for you."
He pulled the drawer open, and out came a brand new iPhone. Still in the box and everything.
"I can't accept this," I said as he handed me the phone. "This is ridiculous."
"You can, and you will," he argued. I opened the box and pulled out the black phone. "Consider it as a gift."
I inspected the phone as I flipped it around in my hands. "This is one pricey gift isn't it?"
Well, probably not considering that he is a billionaire Liv.
"Never mind," I mumbled, after realizing how stupid I sounded. Harry broke out into a fit of laughter, large dimples carved in both of his cheeks.
He shook his head. "Nothing," he replied with his hands on his hips. "You are just cute Liv Knight."
I huffed. "Cute?"
I saw something indescribable fill his eyes. "Yes, cute." He walked over to me, closing some of the distance in between us. "Adorable, enthralling, surreal..." I didn't even realize his arm had snaked its way around my waist. My breath hitched into my throat. Harry let out a small sigh, his minty scented breath hitting my face. "Tell me when to stop."
I placed a single hand on his chest, a throaty groan erupting from the back of Harry's throat. My eyes shut in anticipation. My body was boiling, aching for him to make a move. He held me closer than ever, our labored breaths mixing with one another's. I felt the tip of my nose touch mine. His arm pressed me even closer into his chest. And before our lips could even touch, someone knocked on the door.
Startled, we both ripped apart quickly, flustered looks across both of our faces.
"What the hell?"
Just by hearing his thoughts outside the door, I knew it was Ren. And so did Harry, as he huffed in frustration.
"C'mon in Ren," he laughed sarcastically, throwing his hands up in the air.
Ren swung the door open, peeping his head across the door frame. "Am I interrupting something?"
"Of course I am."
A smirk appeared on Ren's face. I heard a growl rumble deep in Harry's chest.
"Umm," Harry said, his hand rubbing across his face. "You kinda did."
Ren's eyes gleamed with amusement, as they met Harry's which were filled with way too much seriousness.
It is always weird to see how fast he can go from being carefree to more pent up in like 0.2 seconds.
Yeah, exactly 0.2 seconds. Fast, huh?
"Just letting you two lovebirds know that the pilot is ready to take off, so he advises you both to go sit in the cabin for a while," Ren said. I pulled my hair to the right side of my body, letting it fall down my shoulder. "Plus," he continued, "I won't be on the same flight as you all because someone," he coughed, "doesn't want me to ruin his little fun. So, I will see you both in Ireland tomorrow afternoon."
Harry nodded his head before walking towards the doorway, and motioning for Ren to follow him out. As Harry walked out before him, Ren flashed me a small, mischievous smile.
He knew exactly what he was doing.
And I flicked him off. Left alone in the large and luxurious room, I plopped down on the bed. Don't let me forget to mention the bedding smelled just like Harry. I could drown in his scent if I wanted to. It was everywhere...
Embracing me. Comforting me. All of the above.
Moments later, in came Harry with a small smirk on his lips. "Even though you look amazing in my bed," he joked. But, a gleam in his eyes told me that he wasn't joking."We have to go back to the cabin."
He extended his hand out in front of him for me to grab, and I took it.
There goes that feeling again. What the hell is that?
Harry led me back to the cabin, his hand wrapped securely around my own. He motioned for me to sit down in the row of seating, and I plopped down.
The engines of the plane started up, the loud and scruffy noise filling my ears. Harry placed his hand over mine. "Do you like flying Olivia?" he mocked, his eyes locked with mine.
My teeth were nervously clenched together. The pads of my fingers drumming on my thigh. "What do you think?" I asked, my gaze challenging his.
"I'm guessing no, huh?"
My stomach began to bubble, and I felt my nerves going haywire.
Don't barf. Don't barf.
"Hold on tight Liv," he smiled, his hand giving mine a tight squeeze. "It's gonna get very bumpy."
"Well thanks for you comforting words," I said sarcastically, a fake smile on my lips.
He nudged me with his shoulder. "Take a joke," he laughed. I looked over and glared at him.
The jet started rolling down the runway. I looked out the window for a brief minute, but then I was getting dizzy.
"Maybe that isn't the best idea?" Harry suggested, his eyebrow raised. He reached across my seat and shut the shade over the small window. "Just take deep breaths," he said while facing me. "We'll be off in no time."
Soon, I felt the plane lifting up into the air. My stomach dropped, and my breath hitched in my throat. A few dizzy spells and deep breaths later, the plane leveled out.
"You can open your eyes now Liv," Harry chuckled, his fingers interlacing with mine. I didn't even realize that I had shut my eyes. As soon as I opened them, I pulled up the shade over the window and looked out.
All I could see was the beautiful white clouds, that looked like gigantic cotton balls. Yeah, cotton balls. Cotton candy?
"It's beautiful isn't it?"
Out of the corner of my eye, I was that Harry turned to look towards the window as well. But then when I realized his eyes were gazing at me, and not the beautiful scenery I flushed. The corners of his mouth pulled up to form the perfect grin. His thumb began to rub comfortingly over my hand.
I watched as we flew over New York, and that's when reality finally hit me. I wasn't coming back...ever.
"Goodbye New York," I said before shutting the window shade and closing my eyes.
