Willow propped her feet up on the managers desk and grinned smugly, "So...how much are you asking for hiring you guys out for our performance?"
The manager stroked his chin and thought, before looking at Willow from the corner of his eyes. He swivelled round in his leather computer chair and laced his fingers together, propping his elbows on the desk, "How much are you offering?"
She grinned wider and pulled out Kakuzu's brief case from under her chair and opened it up to reveal the contents inside, "How does this look to you?"
The manager's eyes lit up as he greedily eyed the money. He looked at Willow cautiously, but when she gave him the single nod, he cleared his throat, the corner of his lip curling up, "You got yourself a deal." he held out his hand and they shook firmly.
Willow walked out of the office, still smirking, "And that...is how you get your hands on games." Guess where I will be spending all my time during the performance? She particularly had her eye on the zombie killing game which issued a large machine gun.
"Oooh, Willow-sempai is so clever!" Tobi cheered, hugging Willow in his death grip.
Willow muffled a, "Yes Tobi, I am!" before trying to push him away, but it was impossible, "Where are...the others...?" she then asked.
"Oh, Kakuzu-senpai is looking for his briefcase." Tobi replied.
Oh s***, Willow cursed as she turned around to see Kakuzu smashing the glass at the prize counter.
"And Reika-chan got bored so she went next door with Aya-sempai." Tobi added.
Wait what is next d...? "Oh you are kidding me?!" Willow then shouted, remembering that next door was actually a strip club, Why, why, why did I pick Reika? she started repeatedly hitting her head in her hand.
"I will ask you one time, and one time only, where is my money?" Kakuzu growled at one of the colleagues, holding him by the collar of his shirt, and hanging him in the air with one hand.
"P...please...sir...I...don't...n...know..." the colleague whimpered, as Kakuzu's piercing green eyes bore into his forehead.
Willow sighed and stormed over, "Kakuzu put him down...now!"
"Not until this guy tells me where my money is." he replied, not looking at her.
She rolled her eyes and then cunningly muttered, "I wonder what happens if I do...this." she hooked her finger round one of the stitches in Kakuzu's arm and tugged slightly.
Kakuzu froze, "I wouldn't do that if I were you." he warned, slowly turning his head to look at Willow, who looked evilly back up at him.
"Oh really? Then put him down." she retorted, tugging again.
Kakuzu hesitated for a second and then sighed, opening his hand and letting the colleague drop to the floor. The colleague whimpered before crawling behind the prize counter again.
"Good." Willow dusted off her hands and then trailed forward, "Let's get going then shall we?" she declared.
"You still have to get Reika and Aya." Kakuzu reminded her.
She rolled her eyes again and turned to look at him, "No s*** Zombie Two. I haven't forgotten. That's why we are going to get them right now."
Kakuzu flinched at his nickname and then muttered, "I am still not leaving without my money. I will turn this place upside down until I find it."
"No you won't, because if you damage any of these beautiful machines then I will kill you like they do in the games." she eyed the same games machine and imagined it broken. She knew if that moment happened, she would be mourning it like an actual death.
"Is that a threat?" Kakuzu asked.
"So what if it is? I'm being serious."
Both of them glared at each other, waiting for the other one to retort.
"Uh..excuse me..." the colleague piped up.
"WHAT?!" both Willow and Kakuzu snapped at the same time.
"I...If you...want to f...find your....briefcase....y...you can always...sp...speak to the m...manager. He keeps all the l...lost and f...found." it took the colleague a while to blurt it out, and Willow was getting impatient, but when she heard the suggestion, she stiffened.
"You go do that Kakuzu. I'm gonna...go with Tobi and get the girls." she quickly grabbed Tobi's arm and ran, leaving Kakuzu to find his case.
Crap crap crap crap....I think I just sent someone to their grave...she bit her lip, Oh well. The manager was a greedy bugger anyway...and he smelt too strongly of booze and cigarette ashes. she continued to quick walk with Tobi out of the arcade and towards the club.
They were stopped by two security guards, "Sorry. You are not of age to enter."
Willow stopped, Well, maybe that's a good thing. I don't really wanna go in there...
Tobi piped up, "Can Tobi go in?"
The security guard raised an eyebrow and let him past. Tobi cheered slightly before running inside.
He does really these are male strippers r...? Never mind. Willow shook her head and waited.
Ten minutes had passed and none of the trio came back out.
"What is taking so long?" Willow hissed, turning around and looking at the entrance to the club, Tobi should have found them by now.
That was when she heard a noise in the alleyway behind her. Loads of deep breaths and a slight gagging noise. She turned around and noticed that Aya had stumbled out the emergency exit to the club and was kneeling over a bin.
Wait...was Aya drinking???? she cautiously approached Aya and tapped her shoulder, "Are you Ok, Aya-chan?"
Aya perked her head up and turned around, gripping Willow in an odd hug, completely sober, "Thank God you are here. Maybe you can convince Reika-chan to get out of that hideous place..." she shuddered, cringing at every moment she experienced, "It's not nice."
"How did you even get in there?" Willow asked.
"You know Reika. She has her ways." Aya replied.
Willow nodded, not fully understanding, but she agreed to go ahead with it, "So, you going to get her out? And where is Tobi?"
"Tobi? Oh yeah. He went to the toilets, but he hasn't come out yet. And I am not going back in there by myself."
"Well, you're gonna have to. We need to get those two back, before Pein finds out and kicks our asses."
"No way! You're coming too."
"No I'm not!"
"Yes you are!"
Suddenly, a loud cheer could be heard from inside, "Go on! Take 'em off!"
Both Aya and Willow cringed before they charged inside, not caring about the people who saw them. Aya pointed to the booth that Reika was sat at. She was holding a gin and tonic in one hand, and in the other she was caressing a guy's bare back.
How the f***, Willow thought, "Woah, woah, woah." she pushed the guy away from Reika, before wiping her hand on Reika's shirt to remove the sweat, "I think you've had a little too much to drink, Reika-chan."
"Wha...?" Reika furrowed her stitched eyebrows, "But this is my first o..."
"You've had too much!" Willow repeated, snatching the glass away and slamming it on the table, making it smash.
"Excuse me." the male stripper approached the trio again, "Aren't you a little too young to b..."
"Sorry, I was just leaving..." Willow declared, pulling a gutted Reika out of her seat, "And put a shirt on." she looked at the guy in disgust, relieved he was still wearing underwear, "What is wrong with you Reika?" she hissed at Reika, who was sulking as she followed Willow and Aya.
"What is your problem? Ruining my fun!" Reika snapped back, but when Willow gave her the death glare, she backed down and headed to the door.
"Aya, keep an eye on Reika. I'll go get Tobi." Willow sighed, walking over to the toilets. She banged on the door, "Tobi!" she called. No response. She tried again, "Tobi!" she shouted a little louder.
"Sempai? Tobi's scared..." Tobi whimpered from inside.
Willow sighed, "Great..." she whispered, "Why?"
"The men are disgusting. Tobi doesn't like it...Tobi isn't leaving..."
Willow groaned, "Come on. We'll go now. You don't have to look at them again."
"Tobi doesn't want to see them at all...Tobi isn't coming out."
Willow took a few steps back and cursed under her breath at Tobi's awkward behaviour. Then she took in a deep breath and said calmly, "Tobi. If Willow...I mean, I hold your hand and cover your eyes, will you come out? You won't see them again."
Tobi remained silent for a second then asked, "Sempai promises?"
She heard the door unlock and Tobi's head peer out. Immediately, Willow covered the hole in Tobi's mask to block his vision and then took his hand in hers.
"Can you see?" she asked.
Tobi shook his head, "No sempai."
And immediately, the started walking to the emergency exit again.
Willow leaned against the wall and sighed loudly, "That was horrible." she gasped for breath and shuddered.
"Tell me about it." Aya added.
Reika snorted and continued to sulk, while Tobi remained latched onto Willow's arm.
"Come on then. We should be leaving now." they were about to walk off when Reika stopped.
"Wait a minute. Where is Kaku-san?"
A loud smash and loads of screaming was heard from within the arcade next door. Staff and visitors alike evacuated the building and ran for their lives.
"You've gotta be kidding! I hope he knew I was being serious! If he has broken any of that stuff in there he's dead!" Willow charged over to the entrance and peered inside. Luckily none of the stuff was broken. But standing a few feet away from her, was Kakuzu, his briefcase in one hand and a man in a suit slung over his shoulder. The manager!
"He stole my money, so he had to pay the price." Kakuzu quickly explained, dropping the guy to the floor.
"Ah, nice one Kaku-san!" Reika grinned, skipping forward and kneeling next to the manager, seeing if she could scavenge any parts.
"Y...you killed him?!" Willow blurted out, S*** hopefully he won't find out it was me who gave him the money. Maybe my idea of using Kakuzu's cash a persuasion wasn't such a good one... "And Reika! That is sick!"
"Just leave her to it. She won't be long. And it shuts her up for a while." Aya suggested, putting a hand on Willow's shoulder, keeping her close by.
"Hmm. Nope." Reika finally declared, skipping back over to the group, "His eyes are boring and his excessive drinking and smoking have ruined everything about him."
The other three just chose to ignore her and turned around.
"Are we leaving now?" Kakuzu asked, walking forwards.
The sound of sirens blared from all directions, making the four of them stiffen.
"It's the popo!" Reika declared, grinning widely.
"We should move...now!" Willow shouted, as the others started to scatter.
Aya transformed into her cat and scampered off down the path, Reika used her threads for grappling and whisked away onto the roofs and Kakuzu, Willow realized, had already left.
"Come on sempai!" Tobi reached over to Willow, and hauled her onto his back and started running. For the derpy person he was, he was surprisingly strong and fast. They caught up with the others in no time, outside the town.
"Naw! Such a cute couple." Reika observed the late comers and made a frame with her fingers and held it up to Tobi and Willow.
"No...NO! Put me down Tobi!" Willow shouted, wriggling off of his back, "Reika...button it for the rest of the journey." she didn't look in Reika's direction.
Reika grinned smugly, "Whatever you say, Willow-chan." she cocked her head to one side. She knew Willow was blushing.
"Good. Now let's get going. I don't think I can stand to last one more minute with you guys." Willow mumbled, taking a lead as they all walked back to the hideout, I really need to lie down. And this is why you should never make deals with the Akatsuki. Something was bound to go wrong....and it did.
