Ashton's point of view-
Miranda arrived ten minutes ago, and now I'm waiting for her to get out of the bathroom. She opens the bathroom door, her face red.
"What's wrong?" I asked, sitting up further on my bed.
"There's a pad on the sink." She laughed so hard, she fell back on my bed. I coughed, and shook my head. "It's not mine! I swear!" I giggled, laying my head on the wall.
"I know. It's Abbie's, she's an idiot." Abbie is my little sister. She's absolutely self-centered. But, she's my sister and my mom says that I have to be nice to her. So, until then I care, I will not be nice.
"I know-" Just as I said that, the front door slammed from downstairs. "Speak of the devil and he shall come." Miranda groans, flopping back.
Heavy footsteps pound up the stairs and my bedroom door swings open. My sister stands there, phone in hand and hand on her hip.
"Ashton! You know before mom left she said no one can come over!" Abbie dramatically yelled. Honestly, I don't even know why she's yelling. We are not deaf.
She's so dramatic sometimes.
"Yeah, but I'm older than you so shut up."
Abbie crosses her arms over her chest, and stepped further into my room. “Well duh! I’m not stupid.” She rolled her eyes. I swear I’m going to hit her. Miranda looked over at me, and shook her head. I let out a breath, clenching my fist.
“Just get out.” I say, pointing to the door.
“Fine, but I’m leaving with Jackson. Bye ugly’s!” Abbie yelled as she left my room, slamming the door behind her.
I tugged on my ponytail, just to relieve anger. Miranda rested her head on my legs, giggling up at me. “You’re pissed, huh?” I nodded, and closed my eyes for a second.
“It’s okay, my brothers annoy me all the time. And only one of them live with me.” Miranda shrugs, turning over on my legs. I nod, and place my hands on her forehead. She scrunches her eyebrows, and smiles.
“Remove your hands demon.” She laughs, causing me to laugh along with her. “Fine. But if I’m a demon then you’re Satan.” I chuckle, moving my hands to my sides.
“Fine with me, love.” She smiles her cheeky smile, and squeezes my cheeks. I pull away from her, shaking my hair. “Stop, I told you to never do that again,” I whine.
“Oh, I’m sorry darling!” Miranda sits up, and starts to pinch my cheeks. I slap her hands away from me, and roll over. She laughs and rolls over on me. Her back against mine.
“Your so weird.” I speak after the few minutes of silence. “True.” She agrees.
This is what I like about her, she doesn’t care what you say, and she just goes with it.
Astoria’s point of view-
I pressed my back against the bathroom door, crying once again. My mother had left. Ran off with some guy she had just met, and she didn’t even bother to consult me first. I looked in the mirror and shed more tears.
“What’s wrong with you?” I asked myself. Does she not love me anymore? Did I do anything wrong? Of course I didn’t do anything wrong. I was never a bad child at all. I always study hard, get good grades, and I never do anything I’m not supposed to. I might sound like the goodie goodie type, but I’m not.
A knock on the bathroom door startles me, and I jump.
“Astoria? Love, are you in there?” Draco’s voice comes through the door, and the doorknob jiggles. I don’t bother to wipe my tears away, and open the door. His beautiful eyes meet mine, and he frowns.
“Babe, what’s wrong?” He takes me into his warm arms and lets me cry.
I melt into his embrace, and he sits in the hallway floor against the wall. I curl up in his lap, burying my face into his chest. He rubs small circles in my back to calm me.
“Draco. S-she left me a-a-again.” I cry, He sighs in my ear, and whispers in my ear.
“It’s going to be okay beautiful. I’m here for you.” He sweetly whispers to me. I nod, because I know it’s true. Draco has always been there when I needed him the most, and even when I didn’t. Well, I always need him so that’s probably not true.
“I-I know.” I say. I start to calm down, and Draco lifts my head up, wiping my tears away with his thumb. He presses a small kiss to my lips, resting his forehead against mine.
“I love you Astoria.” “And I love you Draco.” I smile weakly at him. His hands press into my cheeks, smiling back.
“Come on. Cheer up, at least you have me, right?” Yes, that is true. “Yeah, I guess.”
Draco smiles, and helps me stand up. He takes a hold of my waist and kisses my cheek.
We make our way to the living room, and we sit on the couch. He sits down, sitting me between his spread legs. “Want to watch a movie?” He asks. I shake my head.
“I’m not really in the mood to watch a movie. I just want you to hold me.” I cuddle closer to his chest, and sigh. “I can do that.” Draco smiles lovingly down at me.
We sat in silence, but not awkward silence. I hate it as much as the he does, so I play with my fingers. A strand of blonde hair falls into my face, and he places it behind my ear. I am very thankful for Draco being in my life. Without him, I just don’t know what I'd do.
