I stared up at the wall, thinking about my life. All this drama has gotten me no where. I looked over to my clock and it was one in the morning. I groaned and tried to go to sleep. Damn Harry, look at what you did to me.
I went out to my car and turned it on. I looked up and almost had a heart attack. Harry was standing there almost passed out.
I ran out and lifted him gently a little from the wall and set him on the ground. No one could see us because the car was blocking the view.
I shook him a little, no answer. I shook him again, a little moan slipped his mouth. "Spencer."
I made a sigh of relief. I helped him prop up and he put his hand through his hair. He looked like he was on a hangover. "Harry. Why are you--" "Spencer, can we please talk about this inside?"
He looked up desperately. I nodded and helped him inside to my room. He fell onto the bed and I had to ask him what was wrong, but he fell asleep right as his head hit the pillow.
I looked out the window and something moved into the bushes. I looked around and no one was anywhere. I looked into my room again and my mom was leaning on my door frame. "So, snuck him into the house?"
"He's not feeling well." "Yeah, I bet."
She came toward me and started to get ready to yell at me but I said, "I found him in the driveway this morning. He looked like he was intoxicated badly. So, I took him in. Mom, meet my boyfriend Harry Styles. Deal with it because this is who he is and I accepted it."
"Ok. I trust you with your decisions young lady, but don't disappoint me. Anyways, I'm still needing an answer on what you father asked him." "Mom!" I pushed her playfully and she laughed saying, "I'll give you two some space, and Spencer?" "Yes?" "Your brother and I will be in a broadway show in New York. So, we will be gone for a few months. This show is going around the country too. I know you'll understand."
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?"
I put my best smile that I could pull off. She kissed me on my cheek and whispered, "I love you." I could only smile for her after she said that.
She walked out and I saw her bags in the hallway that she now lifted and went downstairs. My brother followed behind her and took a peek into the room to see Harry. He raised his eyebrow and walked out.
As soon as the door slammed down stairs it was silent.
The silence that I was use to dawned on me again. "So, nice family." I got off from where I was sitting on the bed and looked at Harry.
"What? Never saw a waking intoxicated human before? I think that's what you said." "You heard the con--" He nodded and I turned red. "I don't really like how I was introduced to your mother though. I should've been in a better condition, but I guess that fate just wanted that to happen."
I weakly smiled and then I had to ask, "Why were you drunk?"
He wasn't ready for the question. He bit his lip and motioned his hands for me to come over. I sat on his lap like a child would and looked up at him ready to listen.
"I was worried about so many things. It's normal for me to be like this. I just didn't want to show you this side of me." "Why?" He looked down and started to draw shapes on my legs signally that he didn't want to talk about it. "Harry."
He looked up at me and said, "It's a long story." "It's a Saturday. I have all day."
He leaned his head back against the headboard of the bed and sighed. This must be really tough for him. "Usually I would drink just for fun. You know to get drunk and do bad things, but I stopped for a while when I was with you. I started again because I was worried about you."
"You don't have to worry about me. I'm independent." "You don't understand." "I'm listening."
He looked at me and sighed. "I signed up to tryout for a competition called the X Factor." I chuckled and said, "Never heard of that." "It's a TV broadcasted competition." "Well, that means you have to--" "Yeah. That's why I'm worried about you."
"That isn't a good enough reason to worry about me." "I'm worried that you'll fall for someone else."
I got up and sat on his lap facing him. I cupped my hands around his face and said, "Don't worry about me on that. You stole my heart."
That made him smile and he brought me closer to him. "Show me." "Not now."
I giggled while he turned red. He didn't like being rejected, but he needed to get use to it from me. He put his hand up my shirt and started to make shapes on my back. He stared into my eyes and I smirked and pecked his lips and got off of him.
My body was cold from where he touched me and that made me bite my lip.
I went to the parking lot after lacrosse practice and started to head home. I was tired and sweaty. Two of the most hated things in my life. When I got into my car someone texted me.
It was a block user so I couldn't tell who it was. The opened it and it read, "I swear you can get annoying at times. You know there is never a forever. There's just no such thing."
I looked around and there was no one else in the parking lot. I looked behind me to make sure no one was there. I looked in front and I slammed onto the breaks. There was a senior from lacrosse standing right in front of me. I remember him, and he was really good at the sport and you think we would be friends, but he was no where near the type of friend that I wanted. He was that one night stand guy. He didn't want to be mutual friends with any girl.
Why I turned the breaks on, you may ask, when he was only in front of me? He wasn't only in front of the car, he was freaking on top of the damn hood.
I honked, but he didn't move an inch. With his weight he would dent my car. I didn't want that. I motioned him to move, but he just smirked.
I swear some boys need a slap in the face.
He came to the side of the door and said, "Babe, want to ride with me? I bet you'll enjoy it." "Not into that kind of stuff." "Of course. Virgins will always be that way for the first time." "What makes you think that I am that?"
He scoffed and said, "What? Styles already stole your purity." "Why are you so worried about that?"
He stared deep into my eyes and I raised an eyebrow and he looked away defeated. He chewed on the inside of his cheeks and went away. I knew that wasn't going to be the last time though.
I checked again and then Harry was walking out of the building.
I groaned not wanting to talk to any other person right now, but when he saw my car he ran up to it. I unlocked it and he got in saying, "Can I stay at your place? My mom and sister are visiting family over in London." "Yeah. That's fine with me."
He kissed me and said, "Thank you, you're the best." "I know."
