"don't be cocky cunt" I snapped at home slightly loosing my temper. He chuckled down the phone.
"Chill Kim, I was just joking" he laughed and I felt the blood flush to my cheeks.
"Yeah aha uhm same" I tried to sound convincing.
"Anyway how are you?" He asked me, I tried to not make this awkward.
"I'm good youknow just busy with school and dance, you?"
"Nothing really" he laughed "band practice and work mainly"
"Where do you work?" I asked, keeping the conversation flowing.
"I work at the old video shop in town?"
"Oh yeah I love that place, maybe you could get me some discount. 70s movies are my favourite." I smiled.
They was, I really really enjoyed them.
"Maybe I can. Hey Kim?" He asked me.
"Could I take you out, one time, maybe?"
A million things flew through my head, a million possibilities for things I could have said.
'Im to young for you' 'You're my brothers bestfriend' 'Im still in school Ashton'
But instead I reply...
"Sure, that'd be great" I smiled and i felt a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach.
"Great, see you Friday, I will pick you up at 7" he softly spoke down the phone and I smiled at the sound of his voice.
"Should we tell Michael I mean his your friend... my brother?"
"He doesn't need to know Kim... not yet" what did he mean?
"Okie dokie" I replied chirpy as I said bye and put down the phone. I couldn't stop smiling as I cleaned round my bedroom and grabbed a drink.
"Oi what are you so happy about?" Michael asked as he poked his head into my room as I was texting away... to Jenna and Ashton.
"Just glad to have dance tomorrow. It's been 2 weeks."
"Oh, fair enough" he shrugged and walked away.
Why do I feel bad when nothing has even happend with me and Ash. Oh wait, it has.
I feel horrible and Michael is the only one in my family I truly truly care about. But me and Ash are just friends... right?
