"Luke, I'm going to my dads." I yelled. "You are?" He asked, walking out of the bathroom. "I need to see my niece." I said. "True. I still can't believe Lexi has a kid." He said. I smiled, and kissed his cheek.
"Aunt Sky!" Maura yelled, running to me. "Hey." I said, picking her up. "How old are you now? Nineteen?" I asked. "Four." She said. "Oh, right right. Where's mum and grandpa?" I asked. "Mummy told me we are going out." She said. "We are?" I asked. "She said bonding." She said.
"Are you hungry?" I asked. Maura nodded. I took her hand in mine, and walked down the sidewalk. "Where do you want to eat?" I asked. She shrugged. I noticed some paparazzi following us. Great.
"Is this another daughter!"
"How old is she!"
"When did you have her!"
"Is it true you're cheating on Luke!"
"Did Luke go out with girlfriends yesterday!"
"Come on." I said, picking up Maura. She put her head on my shoulder, and kept it there for a long time. This never happened to her, so I'm hoping she's okay.
"Paparazzi!" Lexi yelled. "You let my child be seen with paparazzi!" "Are you stupid! I've been trying to shield her from this!" "If she ends up on a cover to a magazine! Skylar I swear!" She yelled. "Lex, calm down. She probably will end up in a magazine. Don't worry about it though." I said. She sighed.
"Where's dad?" I asked. "In the back room with Nancy." She replied. "Nancy lives here? I didn't know they were serious." I said. "She moved in about last month. Dad really likes her." She replied.
"Hey dad." I said, walking into the back room. "Sky." He said, getting up. "Skylar, what a lovely surprise." Nancy said. "Same to you. I didn't know you moved in." I said. "Well your dad and I are in a good relationship." She replied. I smiled.
"Any man in your life?" I asked Lexi. She sighed. "Not yet. I'm still waiting though." She replied. "So... Sean... Never came back?" I asked. "Not since he left. His clothes are still in my closet." She replied. "I'm really sorry about him Lex. He's an idiot for leaving." I said. "Thanks. But I guess everything happens for a reason right? So, maybe I'm made for someone else." She replied. "Maybe. But hey, just know, you're not alone on this. Maura is my niece, and I'll keep her for as long as you need." I said. "Thank you." She replied.
