25. Chapter 25

~~The smell of eggs, cheese and a hint of bacon was what woke Bella up that morning. Stretching her arms out with a big yawn it suddenly dawned on her that she had actually slept through the night for the first time. She had forgotten what that had felt like these days. Looking down, she noticed she was still in yesterdays clothes. Huh? Hang on a second. How did she get here? She couldn't even remember going to bed last night. The last thing she did remember was her and Liam watching a movie and that how she got here? Did Liam carry her up here? Bella blushed at the thought.

Considering that she had overslept a little Bella decided to skip her shower. Getting out of bed, she got dressed in her black pair of jeans and red tank top with a semi long white cardigan. Pulling her hair up in a high pony, she slipped on her black pair of flats and put on a bit of makeup, quickly brushing her teeth before heading downstairs. With another yawn she walked into the kitchen and spotted Liam serving up exactly what her nose had detected. Eggs, cheese and bacon, the perfect omelette.

"Morning princess."

Bella felt her cheeks burning when she noticed Liam eyeing her up and down.

"Morning," she smiled, walking closer towards him, her stomach practically growling in hunger. "You made breakfast?" she asked, finding it totally sweet.

"I made you breakfast," he corrected her.

"Where's everyone else?" she asked slightly confused.

"Scott called last night and said he was staying.....somewhere and that he would see us at school and Judy is still asleep, as far as I know. So, here you go," he smiled adoringly as he handed her her food. " Cheese and bacon omelet with extra cheese."

"My favourite!" She exclaimed, a little surprised that he knew that.

"I know,"he grinned.

"I don't ever remember telling you."

"I do pay attention, Bella," he smiled again, leaning in closer. Bella looked away shyly. The way he would look at her sometimes and the things he would say made chills go down her spine and cause butterflies to flutter in her stomach every time. He could affect her in so many ways!

"So, last night."

"I remember it well," he grinned, making her blush.

"I don't even remember falling asleep."

"Yeah, you were pretty out of it. I carried you upstairs. I hope that's alright?" He asked when she didn't say anything.

Bella put her plate down and smiled up at him, "Of course it is, I'm just sorry I wasn't awake for it," she grinned, taking a few steps towards him.

"Well, I was going to undress you as well but, I wanted you to be awake for that too," he smirked, his eyes trailing down her body.

Bella could feel her body burning up and couldn't help but react to that. She smiled at him and then tiptoed up to his level and kissed him. He responded immediately by kissing her back and wrapping his arms around her tightly while she let her hands travel up through his hair. This kiss was different to all of the other times, it was full of need and desperation and made her want even more of him.

"Scott!" They both heard someone shout causing both of them to fly apart just in time for Judy to walk into the kitchen.

"Oh, good morning Bella, Liam."

"Morning, aunt Judy," trying to keep her voice steady.

"Do you know where Scott is?" she asked.

"Uhh - "

"He called last night to say he was staying with one of the guys on the team," Liam answered for her knowing that was probably a lie. One of the guys on the team was probably code for some random girl he hooked up with last night.

"Oh good," she sighed in relief. "I almost had a heart attack when I didn't see his truck outside. You're ok driving Bella to school right?" she asked Liam.

"Of course," he smiled politely.

"Thank you Liam. See you kids later."

"Now, where were we?" Liam grinned, closing the space between them and capturing her lips once again. I guess breakfast could wait a little longer she told herself.

"I can't believe you never called me back yesterday! Do you know how long I waited by the phone!?"

"I'm sorry Sam, I forgot."

"Whatever," rolling her eyes in annoyance. "So..." Santi trailed off ignoring Sam.

"So what?"

"What happened? Did you and know?" Santi hinted with a grin on her face.

"No!" Realising exactly what she meant. "Well, almost."

"Oh my god! How far is almost?"

"Did he take your clothes off, or his?" Sam questioned making all three of them giggle.

"No, we didn't go that far, but it was definitely headed in that direction."

"See, all your fault!" Santi said, pointed at Sam. "Hey!"

"No, it really wasn't. In fact i'm grateful that you called when you did." She told them both.

"Ha see! You're welcome," Sam smiled but was quickly interrupted by Santi.

"But, I don't get it? You both love each other right? So, what's stopping you?"

"I just don't want to rush things," she stated, hoping they would both understand. "I don't even know what we are to each other exactly? I think it means more if you wait you know, makes it more special."

"I think that's great Bella," Santi replied with a genuine smile.

"I wish I had waited," Sam said sadly. "Sex changes everything!"

"Amen sister," Santi replied, both of them putting their arm around Sam.

After lunch Bella made a quick trip to her locker before her next class. Grabbing all the books she needed she began walking down the hall when she was suddenly pulled into a dark room. She was just about to scream bloody murder until she saw who it was.

"Liam! You scared the hell out of me!" She scolded him, playfully hitting his chest.

"I'm sorry," he replied, trying to hold in a laugh. "How can I ever make it up to you?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

He gently backed her up against the door and slowly started kissing her making her heart leap against her heart.

"You're forgiven," she smiled against his lips before kissing him again. "Liam," she muttered against his lips.

"Hmm?" he replied, continuing to kiss down her neck.

"I...I"she trailed off, unable to concentrate as he gently began nibbling her earlobe.

"Is there something wrong?" he whispered in her ear before planting another kiss on her neck.

", no everything is fine. I was just, wondering."

"What?" Finally looking into her eyes.

"Um, well," she started, a little nervous about what she was about to ask. "Are we, you know...together?" She watched nervously as he smiled down at her.

"Well, i'd like to think we are," he said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"So you're my...boyfriend?"

"Do you want me to be?" he asked her seriously.

"Yes," she said after a while, hoping that he wanted the same thing.

"Good, I was hoping you would say that," he smiled and gently crashed his lips onto hers.

"Hey Bella?" he pulled away for a second to look in her eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend?" he grinned teasingly.

Bella chuckled at him and nodded her head. "I'd love to," she told him and took his face in her hands before kissing him again.

The last six days had been beyond amazing for Bella. She hadn't felt this happy in so long! Of course, there was still one problem she wished she could fix and that problem was Scott. For some reason she had a feeling that he wouldn't be ok with her and Liam. For what reason she didn't know but, he had made it very clear on more then one occasion that he was against the whole thing. What was she going to do?

"Morning Princess."

Bella looked up into those deep chocolate eyes and gave Liam a small smile.

"Morning," she replied, snuggling closer into his arms.

"How did you sleep?"

"Really well, you?"

"Same," he smiled that half smile of his.

Liam had been staying with her every night for the past couple of days. It started when she came downstairs one night from another nightmare, thankfully it wasn't as intense as the last time, but it still affected her all the same. Liam had come down soon after and offered to stay with her until she fell asleep which she more then happily agreed to. Surprisingly, she fell back asleep straight away that night. It sort of became routine after that.

Liam would sneak in as soon as Scott fell asleep and would stay with her throughout the night. Bella quickly discovered that having him there with her made her feel safe and completely at ease. She hadn't had another nightmare since. It was like in a weird way he could almost make them go away and all it took was to be held in his arms.

"What's on your mind?" he asked her, finding his voice even sexier in the mornings.

"You," she admitted with a little grin. "What's on yours?"

Liam smiled at her like he somehow hoped she would ask and began leaning in closer. "Why don't I show you."

With one swift movement, he pulled her closer and took her lips in a passionate kiss. Bella let out a small moan when she felt his hand trailing up her left thigh. She bravely licked his bottom lip, gently nibbling and making him moan in response. Liam parted his lips and immediately allowed her access.

Liam soon took over and rolled her on her back so he was now on top of her.

Breaking their kiss he began trailing kisses down her neck, gently sucking and nibbling at her skin. She raked her hands through his messy hair pulling on it lightly, loving the way he was making her feel. He continued sucking on the same spot making her a little worried that he might leave a mark but instead of stopping him she continued tugging at his hair and let out a quiet moan.

"I love it when you do that," he growled against her skin before looking up and her with a devilish grin. She chuckled and trailed her finger down the side of his jaw following the line of hair.

"Let me take you out tonight."

"I wanna take you out," he repeated, looking down at her with those gorgeous eyes of his.

"Like a date?"

"Well I am your boyfriend," he grinned making her blush.

"I thought you and Scott were going to a party tonight?" Remembering Scott inviting her along yesterday which she politely declined. She really didn't feel like going to yet another party where she would no doubt make an even bigger fool of herself and maybe end up puking in the bath next time. Giving her luck it was a possibility.

"Yeah, but i'd rather do something with you instead," he said, kissing down her jaw.

"What if Scott suspects something?" Feeling another pain of guilt wash over her.

"You worry too much," he chuckled but soon realised how serious she was.

"Ok, how about this," he started, pausing to think for a minute. "Scott and I will go to the party. I'll stay for a little while and then come back here and pick you up."

"And that will work?" Feeling unsure about the whole thing.

"Well the party is starting early and Scott usually ends up....occupied. He won't even notice," he told her, giving her one of his charming, irresistible smiles. How could she even think of resisting him?

"Yes," she smiled, admiring his perfect face. "So, where are we gonna go?"

"You'll find out later," he told her, running his hand down her face.

"But - " She was quickly cut off as Liam silenced her with his lips knowing she may as well just give up.

"I should go before Scott wakes up," shifting his weight off of her leaving her already missing his warmth. "See you later beautiful."

With one last kiss he was gone leaving her with a big grin on her face. She was finally going on a date with Liam!

It was Saturday evening. The boys had just left and Bella was standing in front of her temporary closet feeling completely helpless. Despite the fact that she had bundles of clothes, she couldn't find anything to wear. She had never been one of those girls who spent hours getting ready, but there she was, rummaging through her clothes, agonizing over what to wear and if Liam would like it. Bella tossed her clothes around in frustration. Uhh, she groaned! It's been over an hour and she was nowhere near even getting ready.

Bella turned around with a sigh and grabbed her phone. Flopping herself on her bed she began scrolling down her contacts until she found who she was looking for.

"Sam, I need your help!"

Bella smiled at herself as she gave herself a once over in the mirror. She must have been so unaware of her nerves because as soon as she talked to Sam it was like the perfect outfit was suddenly shining right before her eyes. She was wearing a simple little black dress, elegant yet sexy at the same time. She was surprised she could pull it off but somehow Liam brought out this other side to her. A side she didn't know she had, it made her brave and daring, something she never thought was possible. Doing her makeup like Sam told her to, she quickly took her curling iron through her hair making her curls tighter.

Once she was done Bella hesitantly walked back over towards her closet and grabbed hold of Amy's cardigan. Holding it up to her nose she inhaled deeply and was glad to find that it still smelt like her. She walked in front of the mirror and slid on the light pink material and noticed that it went perfectly with her outfit. If I wear this, will it make her scent fade away she wondered?. Then again, she knew that one day it would and wearing it did make her feel like her sister was right there with her, something she missed terribly.

Ignoring the tears that wanted to fall she grabbed her purse and headed downstairs. Her Aunt Judy was was at a dinner meeting which meant she was all alone, at least for the moment anyway. Walking inside the kitchen, Bella grabbed herself a glass and opened the fridge door. She was in two minds in having a glass of Vodka that was staring right at her but she quickly decided against it. She was going to go through with this one sober. Closing the fridge door, she walked towards the sink and filled her glass with water.

A faint smile appeared on her face as she sipped on her drink, remembering the time when was torturing herself over the fact that Liam had taken Jennifer out on a date and was raking her brain over what it would be like and where he would take her. I guess now it was time to find out, she smiled to herself.

It was then that Bella heard someone approaching her from behind, the footsteps growing louder. She turned around to come face to face with Liam, looking perfect with his sexy hair and charming smile. He was wearing a dark pair of jeans with his leather jacket and black shirt underneath. He looked so incredible she almost forgot to breathe.

"You look beautiful," he whispered as he approached her, kissing her gently on the lips. "I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner, but something came up," he told her making her heart stop.

"Is everything ok?"

"Nothing you need to worry about," lightly grazing her cheek with the back of his hand.

"Was it Scott!?" she carried on, wishing he would just be straight with her.

"No, it was nothing. Just some drunken idiot, again nothing you need to worry about," smiling that smile of his. She let out a breath of relief and decided to let it go, if it was that important he would have told her.

"You ready to go?" he asked her.

"Yeah, which is where by the way?" Hoping he would give her just a little hint.

"Now, how fun would it be if I told you the answer?" he teased, running his hands around her waist.

"Just one little hint?" she begged but he just nodded his head no. Fine she thought, two could play at this game.

Bella slowly wrapped her arms around him and pushed their bodies together while she ran her hands up into his hair giving him a soft kiss on his neck.

"Please," she whispered, feeling his hold on her tighten. "Not fair," he growled, pushing her closer and capturing her lips.

"Do I win?" she smiled, pulling back to see his face.

"Nope!" He suddenly lifted her up and over his shoulder making her shriek in surprise before walking away from the kitchen.

"Liam! Ok ok, you win! Put me down!" she begged trying to hold down her giggles.

"Did I mention how much I love this dress," he teased, feeling his hand that was holding her legs slowly moving up her dress.

"Don't you dare!" she gasped, hearing him laugh in response. Once they were outside she suddenly realised that she forgot something.

"Wait, I need my purse!"

"No you don't."

"But - " He finally put her down and lifted her chin up so she was facing him.

"No buts," she was going to argue with him but he cut her off again. "I want you to forget about everything tonight and have a good time, with me. I'm gonna take care of you," he smiled adoringly.

Bella reached up and grabbed his face bringing his lips down on hers. "Ok," she smiled.
