~~Wednesday morning had arrived and there was still no sign of Dean anywhere, not that Bella was complaining if anything she was beyond relieved to not have him around. Seeing as tomorrow was the last day of school there was a good chance that she wouldn't see him until after the holidays. Bella sighed loudly as she put her book away in her locker, maybe things will go somewhat back to normal soon. Of course, since when did things ever go the way she wanted?
Bella hunched over a little as she felt her stomach tighten and suddenly erupted into a loud growl. Bella shut her eyes and took in a deep breath. It had been hard to keep food down lately and with the not sleeping she was starting to feel even weaker lately. The school break couldn't have come at a better time, it would be nice to be able to rest and not panic about what the next day would bring. No more worry which meant no more Dean.
Once the pain in her stomach had eased, Bella quickly shoved her books she needed into her bag and decided to go find Scott and maybe eat something small just to settle the hunger pains. As she shut her locker, Bella felt a chill run down her spine as she came to face Dean. Panic immediately flared up inside of her as she stood there unable to move.
"Hi Bella," Dean smirked as he started moving towards her.
Bella immediately reacted and tried to leave but Dean was quicker and grabbed hold of her bruised wrist making her hiss a little. Remembering what Liam had taught her, Bella struck her palm onto Dean's wrist and couldn't believe it when he actually released her arm. A look of surprise took over his face but he quickly recovered and tried to block her exit again as she tried getting away once more.
"Whoa whoa whoa, I just wanna talk," he said, holding his hands up to show he wasn't going to touch her.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say," she told him, giving him an icy stare.
"Well that's too bad, because you're going to listen!" he shouted loudly, his voice echoing down the halls.
"What is wrong with you? How could you do that to me?" she asked him, anger rushing through her once more. It saddened her but at the same time didn't surprise her as she watched him stand there with a grin plastered on his face.
"Don't you care at all?"
"Is that what you thought? That I cared about you?" he asked mockingly.
Bella shook her head in disbelief. "You're a jerk!" she declared and attempted to walk away, but he just blocked her again and this time was so close their bodies were almost touching.
"That's not what you thought about me before though did you?" he chuckled tilting his head slightly. "I could have had my way with you if I really wanted, I bet I still can," he said, his eyes roaming her body.
Bella bit her lip nervously, but she didn't want to give him the satisfaction that he once again had control over her, so she bravely stared into his eyes and smirked, "I feel sorry for you, this game of yours you play, it's pathetic," she mumbled. "I think we both know that if you didn't make such an effort being the player you think you are, nobody would ever really want you."
Dean's face tightened at this and for a second she thought he was going to hit her, but he quickly hid it. "Believe what you want Bella, but I'm pretty sure you're little friend Sam would disagree." Bella's brow wrinkled in anger as she remembered how hurt Sam was by what he had done to her. "You can ask her yourself if you want, ask her how many times she screamed my name out while I was -"
"Screw you!" she hissed and shoved his chest hard, instantly regretting so as he pushed her hard against the locker behind her. Bella gasped in pain from the previous bruises he had left behind the last time.
"Screw me?" he hissed back angrily. "You can if you really want to sweetheart. I'd gladly screw you back."
What has she gotten herself into this time she panicked as she tried to push him away. Everything Liam had taught her had gone out the window, Dean was furious and she couldn't move at all.
"Or what huh?" he whispered loudly in her ear, his hands travelling down her legs.
"No stop it," Bella pounded her fists into his chest trying her best to escape, but that only made him laugh and push himself against her even more.
"Come on Bella, you know you want to," he purred in her ear. "No please," she pleaded as she felt him start to kiss her neck.
Suddenly his body was being dragged away from her, sending her tumbling to the floor. Bella glanced up in confusion to find Liam dragging Dean up by his collar and punched him, throwing his body into one of the lockers leaving him in a pile on the floor. Thinking he would leave it at that, Liam sighed and continued to stalk towards him, dragging him up by his collar again and holding him up against the wall.
"If you ever touch her again I will f*cking kill you," he yelled. "You think what I did to you the last time was bad? Trust me, that, was nothing. Touch her again and I break you."
He then let go of Dean, shoving him hard to the floor, blood coming out of his nose. While keeping his eye on him, Liam slowly made his way towards Bella. He held his hand out to help her up and lead her down the hallway and away from Dean who was now slowly starting to stand. Once they were out of his sight, Liam stopped and turned to her.
"Are you ok?"
Bella nodded weakly and smiled, "I am now." She gave him a quick hug which he gladly accepted. "I tried," she mumbled, avoiding his stare. "I tried to fight him off and it worked at first but then...."
"But you tried, just like I knew you could."
"Thanks Liam," she smiled, trying to ignore the pain in her back.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
"I will be. Could you not tell anybody about it though, please," she swallowed, hating to have to ask him.
"If that's what you really want," he answered finally.
"What were you doing there anyway?" she asked, changing the subject.
"I thought you skipped lunch again so I was coming to find you, also to give you this," he said, reaching into his leather pocket and pulling out a chocolate bar.
"You got me chocolate?" she giggled.
He laughed a little and started rubbing the back of his neck. "It was the last bar in the cafeteria so I grabbed it for you."
"That's sweet," she said, thanking him as she took it from him. "You want some?" she offered as they walked down the halls. "Sure," he replied.
She broke a piece off and gave it to him, taking a piece for herself also. "You know, you really are the nicest guy I've ever met," she told him while blushing like crazy.
"Aww Bells, you keep saying sweet stuff like that I'm gonna think your only using me for my chocolate," he teased, making her blush a deeper shade of red. "Never," she replied, hugging his arm.
"Aww, you guys are so cute," Sam squeaked as she approached them.
"Hey Sam," she blushed, letting go of Liam, thankful that it wasn't Scott who had spotted them. He knew they were friends but, she had a feeling he wouldn't be ok with the touching and the hugging.
"Hi, sorry to interrupt," she grinned knowingly.
"You weren't interrupting anything," Bella stated, giving Sam her best death glare. Liam shoved his hands into his pockets and chuckled to himself while Sam just rolled her eyes.
"Whatever, so I have something for you."
"For me?" Another chocolate bar she hoped, her stomach aching with hunger.
"Yep," she replied, handing her a piece of paper. "A list of guys names that are cute and available."
"The Winter Dance!"
"Sam - "
"I know, you don't want to go, but come on at least browse a little bit," Sam urged her.
"I'm already going," she informed her.
"Yay! So where do you wanna start?" she asked, grabbing the list and looking it over.
"Sam," she said, gaining her attention. "I'm going with Liam."
Sam's head quickly shot up as she looked at each of them with a suggestive grin on her face, "Well well."
Before she could say anymore the bell rang. "What do you have next?" Liam asked her, silently thanking the subtle change of subject
"Yep and come on, we don't want to be late," Sam chimed in, grabbing hold of her arm.
"Because Mr.Collins will get cross?" Bella teased Sam, making Liam laugh.
"Hmm, maybe he'll punish me," she winked playfully, making them both laugh.
"I'll see you later," Liam told her, stealing a bit of chocolate before leaving.
"Bye," she said before being dragged away by Sam.
~~Bella was standing in front of the mirror in the girls bathroom, slowly examining her features. She never really knew why people thought she was pretty? Looking at herself, she couldn't point out one thing that made her stand out, she just couldn't see it. She never usually cared about how she looked but lately, for him, she was starting to. The amount of times she had caught him watching her, that intense, irresistible gaze of his. She couldn't understand why he gave her so much attention and why he was only like it with her?
There were so many girls in this school way prettier then her she thought. He was the most hottest, most kindest, irresistible guy she had ever met, she knew full well he could have any girl he wanted, so why didn't he? She couldn't make up her mind about him. Scott had told her that all he does is hook up with randoms, but then she remembered the time she had asked him about it and Liam had told her that he was pretty happy with just the one, confusing much? You always want what you can't have she sighed again.
Bella walked out of the bathroom and headed towards the library. Glad that the place was deserted, she took a seat at the end of the room and rested her tired arms on the table in front of her. As she sat there she noticed the room was starting to gradually grow darker, almost like the evening had suddenly appeared. She stood up from her chair and tucked it back under the table, but before she could back away, she felt someone move her hair to the side followed by warm lips being pressed to her neck. A pair of strong arms were suddenly wrapped around her tiny waist, pulling her in closer. She could feel the person's stubble lightly graze her neck, that familiar scent she loved so much, she didn't need to turn around to know who it was, to know it was him, Liam.
He continued kissing her neck, softly nibbling her skin sending a jolt of electricity through her body. A quiet moan escaped her lips as he started kissing the side of her jaw, nibbling on her earlobe. She couldn't take it anymore she needed to be closer to him. Bella moved her body so she was facing him, he almost took her breath away as she locked eyes with him, he is so handsome she thought. His eyes were full of hunger and before she knew it his lips were on hers.
She couldn't believe that after all this time she was finally kissing Liam, it was almost too good to be true. They deepened the kiss, their tongues exploring each other's mouths. He pulled himself closer to her, the back of her thighs coming in contact with the chair behind her. His hands felt incredible as they roamed her body. Bella wrapped her arms around his neck and laced her fingers into his perfect wild hair that she loved so much. She had longed to do this for so long and now it was really happening.
Bella felt one of his hands reach for her right breast, his other one placed firmly on her hip. She let out a soft moan as his hand started massaging her. This was going too far, she had never let any guy ever touch her like this before, so why was it ok for Liam? Why couldn't she find it in her to ask him to stop? Obviously sensing something was wrong, he moved his hand away from her and looked her deep in the eyes. They were full of passion and lust, she knew he wanted her just like she did him. She broke their gaze, throwing her arms around him and attacking his mouth with hers.
Liam bent down slightly, moving his hands down her ass to the back of her thighs. She gasped in surprise as he lifted her up, she wrapped her legs around him as he pulled the chair away from the table, sitting her gently upon it and untangling her legs from around him. He took his leather jacket off that he had been wearing and threw it to the floor, now showing his perfectly muscular arms. He grabbed the back of her legs as he gently pulled her towards him and started lowering her back to the table before wrapping her legs around him once more.
Liam stared down at her and slowly started leaning forwards, hovering over her as his hands wandered her thighs. He nibbled on her bottom lip kissing her seductively driving Bella wild, she couldn't hold in the moans she let out as he pushed against her. Her mind briefly went back to Dean for a second and remembered how he had done the same thing. With him it had felt wrong, all she remembered was feeling scared but with Liam, he made her feel amazing and safe, she knew that this was what her sister was telling her about because it felt so right. His hand was slowly hiking it's way up her top as he continued kissing her.
She opened her eyes but found Liam still kissing her, his hand getting closer and closer towards her breast.
She looked around the room breaking their kiss, where was that coming from? He was so close now, his hand moving under the bottom of the bra she was wearing, leaning in to kiss her once more, his hand was just about to.....
Bella awoke with a start and found Scott sitting beside her.
"Bella, you ok?" he asked.
It was a dream? "Uh...I uh...fine," she stuttered.
"What were you dreaming about?"
"Umm...I don't..." God she could still feel his hands she thought.
"It must have been a good dream," Scott chuckled. "You're blushing."
She quickly cupped her cheeks with her hands and looked away from him shyly. He only laughed at her. "By the way you better hurry or we're gonna be late."
She swung her head around to look at the time. Crap. She only had half an hour before she had to leave, she couldn't believe she slept through her alarm!
"Meet you downstairs," Scott shouted as she rushed towards the bathroom, closing the door behind her. She rested her back against it and let out a big sigh.
Oh my god, she cringed. I almost had sex with Liam, in my dream! But it had felt so real she told herself. Bella touched her lips, remembering how amazing it felt to kiss him, the way he had moved his tongue in sync with hers, the way he held her....she laid her head back and closed her eyes. Is that what it would feel like for real she wondered? Just because he had been like that in her dream doesn't mean that that's what he's like in reality she told herself, for all she knew he could be just as rough as Dean was, though somehow she doubted that.
Bella sighed as she took her books from her locker, she hadn't had time to eat this morning due to her stupid alarm clock and partly because of her embarrassing yet somewhat pleasant dream. She knew she probably didn't look her best today, her hair was up in a messy yet stylish bun, she had on her favourite pair of jeans and her red hoodie that used to be Scott's. Thankfully, she hadn't run into Dean this morning and hopefully wouldn't for the rest of the day. She was so glad it was the last day of school which of course also made her nervous knowing the Winter Dance was only two days away. She still didn't have a dress and she still hadn't told Scott yet.
"Someone slept well," someone said, making her jump slightly. Bella turned around to face Liam, shock written all over her face. "What?" she blurted out.
"You just look a little...frazzled," he laughed.
"I...I just...um, I was running late this morning, so I was sort of rushing around," she stuttered nervously. "I didn't even have time to do my makeup or anything."
"You don't need that stuff, you're pretty without it," he said, making her blush.
"I'm not, I feel naked without it," she mumbled, regretting it immediately. She noticed him trying to hide a smile before turning away from him, she couldn't help staring at his lips, remembering what they had felt like against her skin and the way he had made her feel. You need to stop thinking about this, she told herself.
"You ok?" he asked, grabbing her attention.
"Yeah, fine," she nodded, hoping he couldn't see how bad she was blushing.
"Ok," he chuckled. "So listen, I have to skip lunch today, some end of year test thing I have to take."
"Oh, ok," she replied.
"So, I'll see you this weekend," he smiled.
"Right," she nodded.
"Is 7:30 ok?"
"Ok, see you later," he said, smiling that signature smile of his at her.
"See ya," she smiled back.
Bella watched him as he walked away, her eyes secretly travelling down his body. She was caught off guard when he turned around and caught her gaze, she blushed furiously and quickly looked away in embarrassment. She could hear him chuckling as he carried on walking. Bella wanted to slap herself for being so stupid, how was she supposed to face him without images of him above her, touching her, kissing her....she sighed in frustration, what was happening to her? Was she falling for him?
"Hey girly," Sam hollered from behind her, making her jump for the second time today. She turned around to find Santi with her. "Hey guys," she replied and followed them both to lunch.
"So exactly what is the deal with you two?"
Bella gazed up at Sam in confusion as she continued eating her lunch, "What?"
"You and Liam."
"Have you guys kissed yet?" Santi chimed in. "No!"
"Why not? He is hot as hell!" Sam said, Santi nodding in agreement.
"Yeah and it won't take long until someone digs their claws into him," Santi told her.
Bella contemplated that for a second, she had hated the way the girls had been all over him that night at the club, even though he turned them all down, she couldn't help seeing the slightest glimmer in his eye and she had to admit, it made her a little jealous.
"True. I thought you liked him?" Bella looked up at Sam, "I do, but..."
"But nothing, go for it!"
"Saturday is your best chance," Santi told her.
"I don't know?"
"Don't worry, me and Santi will be there," Sam prodded on.
Bella laughed at her two friends, "I'll think about it."
They both rolled their eyes at her, "Stubborn girl," Sam muttered, nodding her head.
